Installation of the Door Sill Latch

Subtask 25-52-41-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the applicable cargo-compartment door.
(3) Make sure that the warning notice is in position at the applicable control panel of the cargo loading system.
(4) Make sure that the ball mats and ball strips are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-22-000-001).
(5) Make sure that the protective cover from the manual mechanism of the manual sill latch lever is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-51-000-001).
(6) Make sure that the limit switches 2507MJ and 2508MJ are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-35-13-000-003), (Ref. AMM TASK 52-35-13-000-001).
Subtask 25-52-41-865-066-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the applicable cargo-compartment door.

(6) Make sure that the limit switches 2507MJ and 2508MJ are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-35-13-000-003), (Ref. AMM TASK 52-35-13-000-001).
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

Subtask 25-52-41-910-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Praparation for Installation
(1) Remove the sealant from the doorsill latch, the plate and the door sill structure with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a SCRAPER - WOODEN or SCRAPER - PLASTIC.
(2) Clean the door sill latch and the contact area on the door sill structure Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(3) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the threads and the shafts of the screws.
(4) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) on the mating surface of the plate (6) and the door sill latch (9).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
Subtask 25-52-41-420-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the sealant from the doorsill latch, the plate and the door sill structure with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a SCRAPER - WOODEN or SCRAPER - PLASTIC.
(2) Clean the door sill latch and the contact area on the door sill structure Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(3) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the threads and the shafts of the screws.
(4) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) on the mating surface of the plate (6) and the door sill latch (9).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
B. Installation of the Door Sill Latch
(1) Put the plate (6) in position and align it with the holes on the door sill structure (7).
(2) Put the door sill latch (9) in position and align it with the holes on the door sill structure (7).
(3) Install the screws (2).
(4) Put the PIN DIA 4 MM (0.157 IN) - RIGGING into the rigging hole (10) of the installed door sill latch.
(5) Make sure that the holes of the drawbars for the Bolt-Retainings are aligned.
(6) If necessary, turn the fork end of the drawbar (5) to adjust the length (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-00-820-001).
(7) Remove the PIN DIA 4 MM (0.157 IN) - RIGGING from the door sill latch.
(8) Push the overridable Y-latch (8) down and pull the drawbar (4) FWD.
(9) Connect the drawbar (4) to the drawbar (5).
(10) Install the Bolt-Retainings (3) to the drawbars (4),(5).
(11) Put the overridable Y-latch (8) in the up position.
(12) Put a PIN DIA 4 MM (0.157 IN) - RIGGING into the rigging hole (10) of the installed door sill latch and adjacent latch.
(13) Connect the drawbar (12) to the drawbar (11).
(14) If necessary, turn the fork-end of the drawbar (12) to adjust the length (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-00-820-001).
(15) Install the Bolt-Retainings (3) to the drawbars (12),(11).
(16) Remove the pins dia. 4 mm (0.1574 in.) from the door sill latches.
(17) Remove the protective caps from the electrical connector (1) and the receptacle.
(18) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the receptacle.
(19) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) to the fasteners and all other connection elements.
(20) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) over the material applied to the fasteners and the connection elements (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
Subtask 25-52-41-865-068-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the plate (6) in position and align it with the holes on the door sill structure (7).
(2) Put the door sill latch (9) in position and align it with the holes on the door sill structure (7).
(3) Install the screws (2).
(4) Put the PIN DIA 4 MM (0.157 IN) - RIGGING into the rigging hole (10) of the installed door sill latch.
(5) Make sure that the holes of the drawbars for the Bolt-Retainings are aligned.
(6) If necessary, turn the fork end of the drawbar (5) to adjust the length (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-00-820-001).
(7) Remove the PIN DIA 4 MM (0.157 IN) - RIGGING from the door sill latch.
(8) Push the overridable Y-latch (8) down and pull the drawbar (4) FWD.
(9) Connect the drawbar (4) to the drawbar (5).
(10) Install the Bolt-Retainings (3) to the drawbars (4),(5).
(11) Put the overridable Y-latch (8) in the up position.
(12) Put a PIN DIA 4 MM (0.157 IN) - RIGGING into the rigging hole (10) of the installed door sill latch and adjacent latch.
(13) Connect the drawbar (12) to the drawbar (11).
(14) If necessary, turn the fork-end of the drawbar (12) to adjust the length (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-00-820-001).
(15) Install the Bolt-Retainings (3) to the drawbars (12),(11).
(16) Remove the pins dia. 4 mm (0.1574 in.) from the door sill latches.
(17) Remove the protective caps from the electrical connector (1) and the receptacle.
(18) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the receptacle.
(19) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) to the fasteners and all other connection elements.
(20) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) over the material applied to the fasteners and the connection elements (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the ball mats and ball strips (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-22-400-001).
(3) Install the protective cover on the manual mechanism of the manual DOOR SILL LATCH (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-51-400-001).
(4) Install the limit switches 2507MJ (Ref. AMM TASK 52-35-13-400-003) and 2508MJ (Ref. AMM TASK 52-35-13-400-001).
Subtask 25-52-41-410-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the ball mats and ball strips (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-22-400-001).
(3) Install the protective cover on the manual mechanism of the manual DOOR SILL LATCH (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-51-400-001).
(4) Install the limit switches 2507MJ (Ref. AMM TASK 52-35-13-400-003) and 2508MJ (Ref. AMM TASK 52-35-13-400-001).
B. Close Access
(1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Close the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).

(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Close the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
