A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the applicable cargo-compartment door.
(3) Make sure that the warning notice is in position at the applicable control panel of the cargo loading system.
(4) Make sure that the ball strip and ball mats are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-22-000-001).
Subtask 25-52-51-865-059-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the opening of the applicable cargo-compartment door.
(3) Make sure that the warning notice is in position at the applicable control panel of the cargo loading system.
(4) Make sure that the ball strip and ball mats are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-22-000-001).

Subtask 25-52-51-910-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the sealant from the components with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a SCRAPER - WOODEN or SCRAPER - PLASTIC.
(4) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the thread and the shaft of the screws.
Subtask 25-52-51-420-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the sealant from the components with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a SCRAPER - WOODEN or SCRAPER - PLASTIC.
(4) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the thread and the shaft of the screws.
B. Installation of the Servo Mechanism and the Actuator
(1) Install the actuator 20MY and/or 120MY:
(a) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) to the mating surface of the support brackets.
(b) Put the actuator (35) with the drawbar assembly (20) in their installation positions below the roller track.
(c) Install the screws (32).
(d) Remove the blanking caps from the receptacle (34) and the electrical connector (33).
(e) Connect the electrical connector (33) to the receptacle (34).
(2) Install the servo mechanism:
(a) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) to the mating surface of the support assembly (27).
(b) Put the support assembly (27) in position and lower the shaft (10) into the hole of the roller track.
(c) Install the bolts (16).
(d) Install the actuation lever (23) on the shaft (10) with the nut (22).
(e) Attach the hook end of the tension spring (26) to the actuation lever (23).
(f) Put the drawbar (20) in the fork end of the actuation lever (23).
(g) Install the pin (19) and the washer (21) and safety the pin (19) with the new AIPC 25-52-02-12-190 COTTER PIN (25) or AIPC 25-52-82-12-350 COTTER PIN (25) or AIPC 25-52-02-12-390 COTTER PIN (25) / AIPC 25-52-04-12-190 COTTER PIN (25) or AIPC 25-52-84-12-240 COTTER PIN (25).
(h) Remove the blanking plugs from the electrical receptacles (48).
(i) Install the electrical receptacles (48) in the support assembly (27).
(j) Align the holes of the electrical receptacles (48) with those of the support assembly (27).
(k) Install the screws (45), the washers (46) and the nuts (47).
(l) Install the screws (18).
(3) Install the door-sill latch lever (referred to as the lever):
(a) Carefully lower the lever (8) onto the shaft (10). Make sure that you do not cause damage to the pin (11).
(b) At the same time, move the lever (8) to the DOWN position until the adjustment pin moves back. This is to give clearance for the shaft (10).
(c) Apply a layer of Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) to the adjustment pin. This makes sure that it moves freely.
(d) Move the lever (8) to the UP position until the adjustment pin engages in the shaft (10).
(e) Put the plate (7) in its installation position.
(f) Install the screw (6).
(g) Install the tension spring (5).
(h) Attach the drawbars (9) to the door-sill latches with the Bolt-Retainings (4).
(i) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors (3).
(j) Connect the electrical connectors (3) to the receptacles (48).
(k) Put the protective cover (2) in its correct installation position.
(l) Install the protective cover (2) with the screw (1).
(m) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) to the fasteners and all other connection elements.
(n) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) onto the material applied to the fasteners and the connection elements (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
Subtask 25-52-51-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the actuator 20MY and/or 120MY:
(a) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) to the mating surface of the support brackets.
(b) Put the actuator (35) with the drawbar assembly (20) in their installation positions below the roller track.
(c) Install the screws (32).
(d) Remove the blanking caps from the receptacle (34) and the electrical connector (33).
(e) Connect the electrical connector (33) to the receptacle (34).
(2) Install the servo mechanism:
(a) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) to the mating surface of the support assembly (27).
(b) Put the support assembly (27) in position and lower the shaft (10) into the hole of the roller track.
(c) Install the bolts (16).
(d) Install the actuation lever (23) on the shaft (10) with the nut (22).
(e) Attach the hook end of the tension spring (26) to the actuation lever (23).
(f) Put the drawbar (20) in the fork end of the actuation lever (23).
(g) Install the pin (19) and the washer (21) and safety the pin (19) with the new AIPC 25-52-02-12-190 COTTER PIN (25) or AIPC 25-52-82-12-350 COTTER PIN (25) or AIPC 25-52-02-12-390 COTTER PIN (25) / AIPC 25-52-04-12-190 COTTER PIN (25) or AIPC 25-52-84-12-240 COTTER PIN (25).
(h) Remove the blanking plugs from the electrical receptacles (48).
(i) Install the electrical receptacles (48) in the support assembly (27).
(j) Align the holes of the electrical receptacles (48) with those of the support assembly (27).
(k) Install the screws (45), the washers (46) and the nuts (47).
(l) Install the screws (18).
(3) Install the door-sill latch lever (referred to as the lever):
(a) Carefully lower the lever (8) onto the shaft (10). Make sure that you do not cause damage to the pin (11).
(b) At the same time, move the lever (8) to the DOWN position until the adjustment pin moves back. This is to give clearance for the shaft (10).
(c) Apply a layer of Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) to the adjustment pin. This makes sure that it moves freely.
(d) Move the lever (8) to the UP position until the adjustment pin engages in the shaft (10).
(e) Put the plate (7) in its installation position.
(f) Install the screw (6).
(g) Install the tension spring (5).
(h) Attach the drawbars (9) to the door-sill latches with the Bolt-Retainings (4).
(i) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors (3).
(j) Connect the electrical connectors (3) to the receptacles (48).
(k) Put the protective cover (2) in its correct installation position.
(l) Install the protective cover (2) with the screw (1).
(m) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) to the fasteners and all other connection elements.
(n) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) onto the material applied to the fasteners and the connection elements (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
C. Preparation for the Test
(1) Remove the actuator safety lock from the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door actuator(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-080-001).
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).

D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

E. Do this Test
(1) Do this test for the door sill latches (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-00-710-004).
(2) If necessary, adjust the drawbars of the door sill latches (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-00-820-001).
5. Close-up(1) Do this test for the door sill latches (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-00-710-004).
(2) If necessary, adjust the drawbars of the door sill latches (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-00-820-001).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the ball strip and ball mats (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-22-400-001).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Close the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the ball strip and ball mats (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-22-400-001).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Close the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
