ACTION
RESULT
1.In the door sill area on the door sill latch:
On the door sill latch:
  • Push the Y-latch in the direction of the latch housing and hold it.
  • The balance assy lowers when the distance between the top of the roller and the top of the housing is less than 15 mm (0.59 in.),
  • At the same time the Y-latch moves to the locked position (90 deg to the balance assy).
  • Release the Y-latch.
  • The Y-latch moves back to the upright position.
2.On the door sill area:
On the door sill area:
  • Move the manual sill-latch lever to the "DOWN" position.
  • Each overridable Y-latch moves down,
NOTE: If the Y-latches do not lower fully or move down asymmetrically you must adjust the latches via the drawbars of the servo mechanism (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-00-820-001).

  • Move the manual sill-latch lever to the "UP" position.
  • Each overridable Y-latch move to the upright position at the same time.
3.On each door sill latch:
On each door sill latch:
  • Push the lever of the manually operated YZ-latch down.
  • The manually operated YZ-latch of each door sill latch goes down.

On the control panel 2020VU1 of the cargo loading system:
  • Power is available on the control panel 2020VU1.
4.On the control panel 2020VU1 of the cargo loading system:
On the control panel 2020VU1 of the cargo loading system:
  • Set the POWER ON/OFF switch 5MY to ON.
  • The POWER ON/OFF indicator light 7MY comes on.
  • Power is supplied to the cargo loading system.
NOTE: Lower and raise the overridable Y-latch with the SILL LATCH switch 6MY at least two times.
5.On the control panel 2020VU1 of the cargo loading system:
On the door sill:
  • Set the SILL LATCH switch 6MY to DOWN and hold it.
  • Release the SILL LATCH switch 6MY.
  • The overridable Y-latches of the door sill latches lower.
  • The overridable Y-latches of the door sill latches come up.
  • The manual sill-latch lever (2) moves from the "A" position to the "C" position and opposite.
NOTE: If the actuator (7) has a malfunction and stops between its extended and retracted position:
  • Lower and lift the overridable Y-latches manually with the manual sill-latch lever (2),
  • The manual sill-latch lever (2) moves back to the "A" position. It stays in this position until the actuator (7) is operated.
6.On the control panel 2020VU1 of the cargo loading system:
On the door sill:
  • Set the SILL LATCH switch 6MY to DOWN and hold it.
  • Release the SILL LATCH switch 6MY.
  • The actuator (7) operates and the adjustment pin (9) engages and the manual sill-latch lever (2) moves to the "C" position.
  • The actuator (7) operates and the manual sill-latch lever (2) moves to the "A" position.
CAUTION: STOP THE OPERATION IMMEDIATELY IF THE CARGO COMPARTMENT DOOR STARTS TO CLOSE. CORRECT THE FAILURE BEFORE YOU CONTINUE THE TEST.
7.On the door sill:
On the door sill latches:
  • Move the manual sill-latch lever (2) to the "D" position.
