A. Get Access
   (1) Open the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the opening of the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door(s).
   (3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) on the control panel of the related cargo loading system to tell persons not to use it.

C. Get Access
   (1) Remove the ball strips and the ball mat to get access to the servo mechanism and actuator (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-22-000-001).
   (2) Remove the protective cover of the manual mechanism (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-51-000-001).
4. Procedure
Subtask 25-52-00-820-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Adjustment of the Drawbars
F Servo Mechanism and Drawbars ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
NOTE: Always adjust the drawbar(s) after the installation of:
  • The door sill latch(es)
  • The servo mechanism and/or actuator
  • The drawbar(s).
   (1) Adjust the drawbar(s) as necessary. Turn the forkend to adjust the drawbar.
   (2) Turn the actuation lever (10), this causes the adjustment pin (9) to engage with the shaft (11). At the same time the manual lever (2) of the door sill latches moves to the "A" position.
   (3) Put a PIN DIA 4 MM (0.157 IN) - RIGGING into the rigging hole (6) of each door sill latch.
   (4) Make sure the actuator (7) is in its extended position.
   (5) Remove and discard the cotter pins (12) from the drawbar(s) which you adjust.
   (6) Put the drawbar(s) and/or drawbar assembly in position and if necessary:

B. Get access to the Control Panel
   (1) Open the access panels
134AR and 154AR to get access to the control panel for the selector of the cargo-compartment door.

C. Preparation for the Test
   (1) Remove the pin 4 mm (0.1575 in.) out of the rigging hole of each door sill latch.
   (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (3) Remove the actuator safety locks from the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-080-001).
   (4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).

D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
   (1) Install the actuator safety locks on the forward and/or aft cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-480-001).
   (2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) on the control panel of the cargo loading system to tell persons not to use it.
   (3) Install the ball mats and ball strips (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-22-400-001).
   (4) Install the protective cover of the manual mechanism (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-51-400-001) .
