B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the FWD or AFT cargo-compartment door is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) and safetied with the actuator safety locks.
   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable limit switch.
   (3) Make sure that the ball strips and ball mats are removed around the applicable limit switch (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-22-000-001).
4. Procedure
Subtask 52-35-13-210-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Visual Inspection
   (1) Make sure that the adjacent area of the limit switch is clean and in the correct condition.
   (2) Make sure that the wire ends are in the correct condition.
   (3) Make sure that the electrical connector (1) is in the correct condition.

B. Preparation of Replacement Limit Switch 2507MJ
   (1) Make sure that the roller (8) of the replaced limit switch (4) is in line with the groove.
   (2) If not, prepare the roller (8) as follows:

     (a) Remove the nut (12) and the bolt (6) from the fork end (7).
     (b) Disengage the roller (8) from the fork end (7).
     (c) Push the fork end (7) carefully into the switch housing with a suitable tool until you feel resistance and hold.
     (d) Turn the fork end (7) to 90 degrees and release it.
     (e) Put the roller (8) in the fork end (7) and install the bolt (6) and the nut (12).
     (f) Tighten the nut (12) correctly.

C. Installation of the Limit Switch 2507MJ
   (1) Put the lock washer (10) in the installation position so that its outer tab engages with the attachment hole of the door sill latch (2).
   (2) Put the limit switch (4) with the related adjustment nut (5) and the serrated washer (9) on the door sill latch (2).
   (3) Make sure that the roller (8) of the limit switch (4) is in the vertical position.
   (4) Install the serrated washer (10) and the lock nut (11) on the limit switch (4).
NOTE: Make sure that the serrated washer (10) is in its correct installation position.
   (5) Turn the adjustment nut (5) until the roller (8) of the limit switch (4) touches the back of the pedal (14).
NOTE: The pedal (14) must be in its top position.

D. Adjustment of the Limit Switch 2507MJ
   (1) Connect the wires of the cable harness (3) to the contacts of the limit switch (4).
NOTE: For the correct connection refer to the table "Wire Connection to Limit Switch Contacts" in the figure.
   (2) Make sure that the PLUG - BLANKING, RED are installed in the contacts which are not used.
   (3) Connect the probes of the continuity tester to the pins A and B of the electrical connector (1).
   (4) Push the pedal (14) down slowly until the continuity tester shows an "open circuit".
NOTE: The limit switch (4) must operate before the offset between the toggle lever (13) and the manual YZ-latch (15) is between 1 mm (0.0394 in.) and 1.5 mm (0.0591 in.) (dimension A).
   (5) Remove the probes of the continuity tester and connect them to the pins C and D of the electrical connector (1).
   (6) Push the pedal (14) down slowly until the continuity tester shows a "closed circuit".
NOTE: The limit switch (4) must operate before the offset between the toggle lever (13) and manual YZ latch (15) is between 1 mm (0.0394 in.) and 1.5 mm (0.0591 in.) (dimension A).
   (7) If necessary, turn the adjustment nut (5) so that the switch point of the limit switch (4) in the limit.
   (8) Tighten the lock nut (11).
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
   (9) Safety the adjustment nut (5) and the lock nut (11) with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
   (10) Remove the probes of the continuity tester from the electrical connector (1) and install it on the receptacle of the actuator.

E. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) closed:

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the ball strips and the ball mats (Ref. AMM TASK 25-52-22-400-001).
   (3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (4) Remove the access platform(s).
   (5) Make sure that the FWD or AFT cargo-compartment door(s) is (are) correctly closed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
