Subtask 25-45-38-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the lavatory mirror is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-13-000-802).
(3) Make sure that the soap dispenser is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-14-000-802).
(4) Make sure that the access door is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-18-000-802).

4. Procedure
Subtask 25-45-38-210-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do a visual inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

B. Installation of the Wash Basin of the Space Flex Lavatory

Wash Basin of the Space Flex Lavatory ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) Install the wash basin (23) as follows:
(a) Put the wash basin (23) in position and install the washers (24) and the screws (25).
(b) Tighten the screws (25).
(c) Install the washers (21) and the screws (22).
(d) Tighten the screws (22).
(e) Release the bonding strap (18) from the lavatory.
(f) Put the bonding strap (18) in position.
(g) If the lockwasher (19) is removed, install it.
(h) Install the washer (17) and the screw (20). Do the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(i) Tighten the screw (20).
(j) Safety the bonding strap (18) with the new TIE WRAP(S) (37).
(k) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(l) Make sure that the line ends are clean and clear.
(m) Put the clamp (28) in position on the hose (30).
(n) Connect the hose (29) to the hose (30).
(o) Tighten the clamp (28).
(p) Put the clamp (26) in position on the hose (27).
(q) Connect the hose (27).
(r) Tighten the clamp (26).
(s) Release the bonding strap (33) from the lavatory.
(t) Connect the bonding strap (33) and install the washers (32) and (34), the lockwashers (31) and (35) and the nut (36). Do the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(u) Tighten the nut (36).
(v) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) in the space between the lavatory wall and the wash basin (23).
(3) Install the wash basin (7) as follows:
(a) Put the wash basin (7) in position and install the washers (5) and the screws (6).
(b) Tighten the screws (6).
(c) Release the bonding strap (3) from the lavatory.
(d) Connect the bonding strap (3) and install the washer (2) and the screw (4). Do the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(e) Tighten the screw (4).
(f) Safety the bonding strap (3) with the new TIE WRAP(S) (37).
(g) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(h) Make sure that the line ends are clean and clear.
(i) Put the clamp (10) in position on the hose (8).
(j) Connect the hose (11) to the hose (8).
(k) Tighten the clamp (10).
(l) Put the clamp (9) in position on the hose (12).
(m) Connect the hose (12).
(n) Tighten the clamp (9).
(o) Release the bonding strap (14) from the lavatory.
(p) Connect the bonding strap (14) and install the washer (13), the lockwasher (15) and the nut (16). Do the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(q) Tighten the nut (16).
(r) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) in the space between the lavatory wall and the wash basin (7).
(4) Close the access doors (1).

5. Close-up
Subtask 25-45-38-410-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the access door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-18-400-802).
(3) Install the soap dispenser (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-14-400-802).
(4) Install the lavatory mirror (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-13-400-802).

B. De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
