A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
4. Procedure

A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do a visual inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

B. Installation of the Soap Dispenser of the Space Flex Lavatory
   (1) Open the access door (1).
   (2) Install the soap dispenser (7) as follows:
     (a) Put the washer (10) and the dispenser holder (9) in position on the wash basin assembly (11).
     (b) Put the washer (12) in position and install the bolt (8), nut (13) and locknut (14).
     (c) Close the access door (1).
     (d) Install the soap dispenser (7) in the dispenser holder (9).
     (e) Turn the spout (6) on the soap dispenser (7) to lock it.
   (3) Install the soap outlet (2) as follows:
     (a) Turn the soap bottle (4) clockwise and install it in the tube (3).
     (b) Install the clamp (5).
     (c) Turn the soap outlet (2) with your fingers and install it on the wash basin assembly.
     (d) Close the access door (1).

CAUTION: DO NOT USE INDUSTRIAL HAND CLEANERS, NATURAL SOAPS AND CLEANING AGENTS THAT CONTAIN ABRASIVES, SOLVENTS OR A LARGE PROPORTION OF DISINFECTANT. THESE MATERIALS CAN CAUSE THE PUMP MECHANISM TO WEAR MORE QUICKLY.
C. Servicing of the Soap Dispenser
NOTE: The dispenser is applicable for normal liquid hand-cleaning agents, soap creams and dish-washing agents for household use.
We recommend that you use mild, biodegradable, fully synthetic agents.
   (1) Fill the soap bottle (4) as follows:
     (a) Turn the soap outlet (2) counterclockwise with your fingers and remove it from the wash basin assembly .
     (b) Use the FUNNEL and fill the hose with weak liquid soap.
     (c) Install the soap outlet (2) and turn it clockwise with your fingers.
     (d) Operate the soap outlet (2) many times until the soap comes out.
     (e) Remove the unwanted soap with a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
     (f) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Fill the soap dispenser (7) as follows:
     (a) Carefully turn the spout (6) on the soap dispenser (7) to unlock it.
     (b) Fill the soap dispenser (7) with liquid soap.
NOTE: For maximum performance of the liquid dispenser, use the liquid soap PN 83-182-Supplier CWF Chemie Frankfurt Gmbh.
If you use an equivalent liquid soap, it must have the viscosity of 1000m.Pa.S.
   (3) Turn the spout (6) clockwise until it is locked.

D. Operational Test of the Soap Dispenser
   (1) Push the spout on the soap dispenser and make sure that the soap dispenser operates correctly.

A. De-energize the ground service network
