BEFORE YOU INSTALL/REMOVE THE GSE-TOOL, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE APPLICABLE GSE INSTRUCTION MANUAL. WHILE YOU OPERATE THIS TOOL, CAREFULLY OBEY THEM. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS, DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.

C. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position, at zone 120.
(2) Make sure that avionics compartment access-door 811 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position, at zone 120.
(2) Make sure that avionics compartment access-door 811 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
Subtask 25-18-51-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Static Inverter
(1) Put the static inverter (2) in position on the plate assembly (1) and hold it.
(2) Install the washers (4) and the screws (3).
(3) Tighten the screws (3).
(4) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(6) Carefully connect the electrical connector (5) to the static inverter (2) not to cause damage.
Subtask 25-18-51-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the static inverter (2) in position on the plate assembly (1) and hold it.
(2) Install the washers (4) and the screws (3).
(3) Tighten the screws (3).
(4) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(6) Carefully connect the electrical connector (5) to the static inverter (2) not to cause damage.
A. Installation of the Static Inverter
(1) Put the static inverter (1) in position on the bracket assembly and hold it.
(2) Install the washers (2) and the screws (3).
(3) Do the electrical bonding on the applicable location of the static inverter (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(4) Install the washer (5) and the screw (4).
(5) Tighten the screws (3) and (4).
(6) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(7) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(8) Carefully connect the electrical connector (6) to the static inverter (1) not to cause damage.
Subtask 25-18-51-865-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the static inverter (1) in position on the bracket assembly and hold it.
(2) Install the washers (2) and the screws (3).
(3) Do the electrical bonding on the applicable location of the static inverter (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(4) Install the washer (5) and the screw (4).
(5) Tighten the screws (3) and (4).
(6) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(7) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(8) Carefully connect the electrical connector (6) to the static inverter (1) not to cause damage.
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Test
(a) On CAPT hand-microphone panel 17VU:
1 Connect the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST to the CAPT outlet (5NA).
2 On the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST, push the pushbutton switch. A light comes on.
3 Connect the voltmeter to the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST and make sure that the voltage is 115VAC.
4 Disconnect the voltmeter from the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST.
5 Release the pushbutton switch. A light goes off.
6 Disconnect the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST from the CAPT outlet (5NA).
(b) On F/O hand-microphone panel 16VU:
1 Connect the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST to the F/O outlet (4NA).
2 On the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST, push the pushbutton switch. A light comes on.
3 Connect the voltmeter to the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST and make sure that the voltage is 115VAC.
4 Disconnect the voltmeter from the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST.
5 Release the pushbutton switch. A light goes off.
6 Disconnect the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST from the F/O outlet (4NA).
(2) For the test with the VOLTMETER - TRUE RMS AC VOLTAGE MEASURING:
(a) Do the steps that follow for the CAPT outlet:
1 On panel 121VU, open circuit breaker PILOTS OUTLETS 2NA.
2 On CAPT hand-microphone panel 17VU, connect the VOLTMETER - TRUE RMS AC VOLTAGE MEASURING to the CAPT outlet (5NA).
3 On panel 121VU, close circuit breaker PILOTS OUTLETS 2NA.
4 Make sure that the voltage is 115VAC.
5 On panel 121VU, open circuit breaker PILOTS OUTLETS 2NA.
6 Disconnect the VOLTMETER - TRUE RMS AC VOLTAGE MEASURING from the CAPT outlet (5NA).
7 On panel 121VU, close circuit breaker PILOTS OUTLETS 2NA.
(b) Do the steps that follow for the F/O outlet:
1 On panel 121VU, open circuit breaker PILOTS OUTLETS 2NA.
2 On F/O hand-microphone panel 16VU, connect the VOLTMETER - TRUE RMS AC VOLTAGE MEASURING to the F/O outlet (4NA).
3 On panel 121VU, close circuit breaker PILOTS OUTLETS 2NA.
4 Make sure that the voltage is 115VAC.
5 On panel 121VU, open circuit breaker PILOTS OUTLETS 2NA.
6 Disconnect the VOLTMETER - TRUE RMS AC VOLTAGE MEASURING from the F/O outlet (4NA).
7 On panel 121VU, close circuit breaker PILOTS OUTLETS 2NA.
5. Close-upNOTE: One of these two tools is necessary for this test: the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST or the VOLTMETER - TRUE RMS AC VOLTAGE MEASURING.
(1) For the test with the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST: (a) On CAPT hand-microphone panel 17VU:
1 Connect the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST to the CAPT outlet (5NA).
2 On the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST, push the pushbutton switch. A light comes on.
3 Connect the voltmeter to the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST and make sure that the voltage is 115VAC.
4 Disconnect the voltmeter from the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST.
5 Release the pushbutton switch. A light goes off.
6 Disconnect the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST from the CAPT outlet (5NA).
(b) On F/O hand-microphone panel 16VU:
1 Connect the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST to the F/O outlet (4NA).
2 On the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST, push the pushbutton switch. A light comes on.
3 Connect the voltmeter to the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST and make sure that the voltage is 115VAC.
4 Disconnect the voltmeter from the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST.
5 Release the pushbutton switch. A light goes off.
6 Disconnect the 99D24003000001 PLUG-ELECTRICAL TEST from the F/O outlet (4NA).
(2) For the test with the VOLTMETER - TRUE RMS AC VOLTAGE MEASURING:
(a) Do the steps that follow for the CAPT outlet:
1 On panel 121VU, open circuit breaker PILOTS OUTLETS 2NA.
2 On CAPT hand-microphone panel 17VU, connect the VOLTMETER - TRUE RMS AC VOLTAGE MEASURING to the CAPT outlet (5NA).
3 On panel 121VU, close circuit breaker PILOTS OUTLETS 2NA.
4 Make sure that the voltage is 115VAC.
5 On panel 121VU, open circuit breaker PILOTS OUTLETS 2NA.
6 Disconnect the VOLTMETER - TRUE RMS AC VOLTAGE MEASURING from the CAPT outlet (5NA).
7 On panel 121VU, close circuit breaker PILOTS OUTLETS 2NA.
(b) Do the steps that follow for the F/O outlet:
1 On panel 121VU, open circuit breaker PILOTS OUTLETS 2NA.
2 On F/O hand-microphone panel 16VU, connect the VOLTMETER - TRUE RMS AC VOLTAGE MEASURING to the F/O outlet (4NA).
3 On panel 121VU, close circuit breaker PILOTS OUTLETS 2NA.
4 Make sure that the voltage is 115VAC.
5 On panel 121VU, open circuit breaker PILOTS OUTLETS 2NA.
6 Disconnect the VOLTMETER - TRUE RMS AC VOLTAGE MEASURING from the F/O outlet (4NA).
7 On panel 121VU, close circuit breaker PILOTS OUTLETS 2NA.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close avionics compartment access-door 811 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
