OPERATIONAL CHECK OF GENERATOR LINE CONTACTOR OPENING
Test to make sure that the generator line contactor 1 opens and test of the power supply of the two fuel pumps in smoke procedure.

Subtask 24-22-00-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) Start the engine (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-003).
NOTE: You can do this test: start engine No. 1 only. Energize the electrical circuit No. 2 with an electrical ground power unit or with the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (4) On the HYD/FUEL panel 40VU, make sure that the L TK PUMPS/1 AND 2 and R TK PUMPS/1 AND 2 pushbutton switches are pushed.
   (5) On the ECAM control panel, push the FUEL key. On the lower ECAM display unit, make sure that the L wing tank pumps 1 and 2 and R wing tank pumps 1 and 2 operate correctly.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) Start the engine (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-043).
NOTE: You can do this test: start engine No. 1 only. Energize the electrical circuit No. 2 with an electrical ground power unit or with the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (4) On the HYD/FUEL panel 40VU, make sure that the L TK PUMPS/1 AND 2 and R TK PUMPS/1 AND 2 pushbutton switches are pushed.
   (5) On the ECAM control panel, push the FUEL key. On the lower ECAM display unit, make sure that the L wing tank pumps 1 and 2 and R wing tank pumps 1 and 2 operate correctly.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) Start the engine (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-003).
NOTE: You can do this test: start engine No. 1 only. Energize the electrical circuit No. 2 with an electrical ground power unit or with the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (4) On the HYD/FUEL panel 40VU, make sure that the L TK PUMPS/1 AND 2 and R TK PUMPS/1 AND 2 pushbutton switches are pushed.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) Start the engine (normal automatic start) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-823).
To do this test, you must start the engine 1 and energize the electrical circuit side 2 with an electrical Ground Power Unit (GPU) or with the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (4) On the HYD/FUEL panel 40VU, make sure that the L TK PUMPS/1 AND 2 and R TK PUMPS/1 AND 2 pushbutton switches are pushed.
   (5) On the ECAM control panel, push the FUEL key.
   (6) On the lower ECAM DU, make sure that the L wing tank pumps 1 and 2 and R wing tank pumps 1 and 2 operate correctly.

A. Operational test of the GLC-1
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the panel 121VU:
  • open the circuit breaker 1QA.
On the panel 40VU:
  • the FAULT legend of the L TK PUMPS/1 pushbutton switch comes on,

On the lower ECAM display unit:
  • on the FUEL page, the pump No. 1 of the left tank no longer operates.
2.On the EMER ELEC PWR panel 21VU:
  • release the GEN 1 LINE pushbutton switch.
On the panel 21VU:
  • the OFF legend of the GEN 1 LINE pushbutton switch comes on.

On the panel 40VU:
  • the FAULT legend of the L TK PUMPS/1 pushbutton switch goes off.
3.On the ECAM control panel:
  • push the ELEC key.
On the lower ECAM display unit:
  • the generator No. 1 no longer supplies the AC 1 busbar. This busbar is supplied from the other generator with the transfer circuit.
4.On the ECAM control panel:
  • push the FUEL key.
On the lower ECAM display unit:
  • pump No. 1 of the left tank operates,
  • pump No. 1 of the right tank operates.
5.On the panel 121VU:
  • close the circuit breaker 1QA,
  • open the circuit breaker 2QA.
There is no change.
6.On the EMER ELEC PWR panel 21VU:
  • push the GEN 1 LINE pushbutton switch.
On the panel 21VU:
  • the OFF legend of the GEN 1 LINE pushbutton switch goes off.

On the panel 40VU:
  • the FAULT legend of the R TK PUMPS/1 pushbutton switch comes on.

On the lower ECAM display unit:
  • on the FUEL page, the pump No. 1 of the right tank no longer operates.
7.On the ECAM control panel:
  • push the ELEC key.
On the lower ECAM display unit:
  • the generator No. 1 supplies the circuit No. 1. The other generator supplies the circuit No. 2.
8.On the panel 121VU:
  • close the circuit breaker 2QA.
On the panel 40VU:
  • the FAULT legend of the R TK PUMPS/1 pushbutton switch goes off.
9.On the ECAM control panel:
  • push the FUEL key.
On the lower ECAM display unit:
  • the pump No. 1 of the right tank operates.

   (1) Stop the engines (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-028).
   (2) Do the EIS stop procedure

   (3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits or de-energize the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Stop the engines (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-018).
   (2) Do the EIS stop procedure
