A. Installation of the Passenger Service Unit (PSU)
(2) Do a visual inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Install the PSU (4):
(b) Put the PSU (4) in position and engage the PSU in the outboard rail (2).
(c) Then push the rubber string (3) into the gap between the panels into the outboard rail (2).
(5) Connect the electrical connectors:
(a) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (5).
(b) Make sure that the electrical connector is clean and in the correct condition.
(c) If necessary move the PSU (4) to the correct position and connect the electrical connector (5).
(d) Connect the plugs (1) with the ELEC CONTACTS INSERTION EXTRACTION TOOL M15570-16 ESPM 2056410.
(e) Fix the cables with the cable straps and cable ties.
(6) Close the PSU (4):
(a) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(b) Lift the PSU (4) in position and engage the remaining side in the inboard mounting rail (2).
(c) Push the rubber string (3) with the 98A25208001000 PULLEY ASSY-SEALING into the gap between the panels into the inboard rail (2).
(7) If necessary, install the filler panel of the Passenger Service/Information Unit (PSIU) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-25-11-400-001).
Subtask 23-73-45-865-052-A NOTE: If you want to install the Pax Call Switch-Cards, please refer to
(Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-38-400-802).

NOTE: If you want to install the Reading Light Switch-Cards, please refer to (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-38-400-803).
(1) If you install a new PSU, install the removed reading light lenses before (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-64-400-802). (2) Do a visual inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Install the PSU (4):
NOTE: Install first the side of the PSU that attaches to the outboard mounting rail (2).
(a) Carefully bend down the rubber string (3) from the outboard mounting rail (2).
