A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
(4) Do the procedure to get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST item
COM
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-003).
(5) Make sure that a minimum of one cabin door is open.

Subtask 23-73-00-860-207-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)

(3) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized

(4) Do the procedure to get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST item

(5) Do the procedure to prepare the In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system for operation (Ref. AMM TASK 23-33-00-710-008).
(6) Make sure that a minimum of one cabin door is open.

A. Do this test

1.In the cockpit on the MCDU: push the CIDS1 line select key.	In the cockpit on the MCDU: the CIDS1 main page comes on.
2.On the MCDU: push the GND SCANNING select key, wait approx. 3 minutes.	On the MCDU: the GND SCANNING menu page comes on, after approx. 3 min. the message NO FAULT DETECTED is shown.
3.On the MCDU: push the RETURN line select key until the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST COM menu page comes on.
4.In the cockpit on the MCDU: push the CIDS2 line select key.	In the cockpit on the MCDU: the CIDS2 main page comes on.
5.On the MCDU: push the GND SCANNING select key, wait 3 minutes.	On the MCDU: the GND SCANNING menu page comes on, after 3 min. the message NO FAULT DETECTED is shown.
6.On the MCDU: push the RETURN line select key until the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST COM menu page comes on.
