3. Job Set-up
Subtask 05-22-20-010-055-A

A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the zone 831 (841).
(2) Open forward passenger/crew door 831 (841) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Remove the galleys and the lavatories between FR12 and FR20, if installed.
To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation:

For the galleys (Ref. AMM D/O 25-31-00-00)
For the lavatories (Ref. AMM D/O 25-41-00-00).

In this paragraph, you will find the cross-references of the removal/installation tasks.
(4) Remove the wall-mounted cabin-attendant seat (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-41-000-001).
(5) Remove the forward curtains, if installed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-013).
(6) Remove the floor panels between FR12 and FR20 (Ref. AMM TASK 53-12-12-000-001).
(7) Remove the door frame linings between FR12 and FR20
(Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-005),
(Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-002).
(8) Lift the insulation blankets between FR12 and FR20 to do the inspection.

4. Procedure
Subtask 05-22-20-210-055-A

A. Do a general visual inspection of the forward-cabin utility areas including floor structure.

Make sure that:

There is no damage (corrosion, leaks or cracks) on all the parts of the components and structure that you can see.
All the installations (wiring, piping or ducting) are attached correctly.

5. Close-up
Subtask 05-22-20-410-055-A

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Put the insulation blankets back in position between FR12 and FR20.
(3) Install the door frame linings between FR12 and FR20
(Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-006),
(Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-007).
(4) Install the floor panels between FR12 and FR20 (Ref. AMM TASK 53-12-12-400-001).
(5) Install the forward curtains, if removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-400-013).
(6) Install the wall-mounted cabin-attendant seat (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-41-400-001).
(7) Install the galleys and the lavatories between FR12 and FR20, if removed.
To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation:

For the galleys (Ref. AMM D/O 25-31-00-00)
For the lavatories (Ref. AMM D/O 25-41-00-00).

(8) Close forward passenger/crew door 831 (841) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(9) Remove the access platform(s).
