(1) Removal of the protection covers:
(2) Install the starter speed sensor (2) to the starter as follows:
(a) ApplyP03-001 lubricant, aircraft turbine engine to a new EIPC 80-11-04-01-090 PACKING (3).
(b) Install the EIPC 80-11-04-01-090 PACKING (3) to the starter speed sensor (2).
(c) ApplyP03-001 lubricant, aircraft turbine engine to the threads and thrust face of the three screws (1).
(d) Install the starter speed sensor (2) to the starter with the three screws (1).
(e) Measure and record the screw (1) run-on torque.
(f) If the screw (1) run-on torque is less than 2 lbf.in (0.02 m.daN) or more than 13 lbf.in (0.15 m.daN), replace the screw (1).
(g) TORQUE the three screws (1) to between 40 and 36 lbf.in (0.45 and 0.41 m.daN )
plus the run-on torque until the same torque indication holds.
(h) Remove the unwanted engine oil with a lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.P05-005) .
(i) Connect the wiring harness (WC08) connector (P30) to the starter speed sensor (2) receptacle (J30) as follows:
