B. Depressurization of the Aircraft Hydraulic Systems
(1) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to pressurize the applicable system.
(a) On the HYD/FUEL panel 40VU of the overhead panel
(b) On the ground service panel of the applicable hydraulic system.

(a) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(b) Make sure that the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3) FOR [4020KM2] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 2)
(a) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(b) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser System for Maintenance
Subtask 78-31-02-010-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Make sure that you did the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). D. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.
(2) Make sure that the pylon access panel is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-804):

4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.
(2) Make sure that the pylon access panel is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-804):

A. Installation of the TRAS Filter Module
(2) Attach the filter module (1) to the filter bracket with the four bolts (2), four washers (3) and four nuts (4).
(3) TORQUE the bolts (2) to between 93.8 and 72.5 lbf.in (1.06 and 0.82 m.daN )
.
(4) Apply material as follows:
(5) Connect the inlet tube to the filter module (1).
(6) Tighten the connecting nut on the inlet tube finger tight.
(7) Connect the outlet tube to the filter module (1).
(8) Tighten the connecting nut on the outlet tube finger tight.
(9) TORQUE the connecting nuts on the inlet and outlet tubes to between 522 and 478 lbf.in (5.90 and 5.40 m.daN )
.
5. Close-upCAUTION:
YOU MUST NOT LET HYDRAULIC FLUID FALL ON THE ENGINE. UNWANTED HYDRAULIC FLUID MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY WITH A CLEAN LINT- FREE CLOTH. THE HYDRAULIC FLUID CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION AND SOME PARTS.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THE FLOW ARROW ON THE FILTER MODULE POINTS FORWARD. IF THE FLOW ARROW POINTS IN THE INCORRECT DIRECTION, THE FILTER MODULE WILL NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY AND CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO HOLD THE MATING PARTS WHEN YOU LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE TUBE OR HOSE NUTS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, YOU CAN TWIST THE TUBES OR HOSES OR CAUSE DAMAGE TO THEM.
(1) Removal of the protection covers CAUTION:
REMOVE THE PROTECTION COVERS FROM THE OPENINGS AS NECESSARY TO PREVENT ENGINE DAMAGE.
(a) Make sure that you remove all the necessary COVER - PROTECTION to prevent damage to the engine. (2) Attach the filter module (1) to the filter bracket with the four bolts (2), four washers (3) and four nuts (4).
(3) TORQUE the bolts (2) to between 93.8 and 72.5 lbf.in (1.06 and 0.82 m.daN )
. (4) Apply material as follows:
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
(a) Apply a thin layer of lubricant (Material No.PU6-0003) to the sleeve surfaces, conical sealing surfaces, and threads of the connecting nut on the inlet tube, outlet tube, and filter module (1). (5) Connect the inlet tube to the filter module (1).
(6) Tighten the connecting nut on the inlet tube finger tight.
(7) Connect the outlet tube to the filter module (1).
(8) Tighten the connecting nut on the outlet tube finger tight.
(9) TORQUE the connecting nuts on the inlet and outlet tubes to between 522 and 478 lbf.in (5.90 and 5.40 m.daN )
