C. Preparation before tests
   (1) Do the EIS start procedure (Upper and Lower ECAM DUs only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (2) On the left or right MCDU get the SYSTEM REPORT TEST page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-001).
4. Procedure

A. Do these tests:

1.Push the line key adjacent to INST
The INST menu comes into view
2.Push the line key adjacent to EIS1
  • EIS (DMC1) page comes into view.
  • On the PFD, ND CAPT side and upper ECAM display unit MAINTENANCE MODE comes into view.
  • The MASTER CAUT light comes on.
  • Ignore the ECAM warnings.
3.Push the line key adjacent to PIN PROG/STATUS AND XLOAD
The EIS (DMC1) PIN PROG/STATUS AND XLOAD shows.
4.Push the line key adjacent to ENGINES
The EIS (DMC1) ENGINE OVER SPD/TEMP shows.
5.Push the line key adjacent to GENERAL RESET
The over limit red indexes are reset.
6.Push the line key adjacent to RETURN until the INST menu comes into view.
The INST menu comes into view.
7.Push the line key adjacent to EIS2
  • EIS (DMC2) page shows.
  • On the PFD, ND on F/O side and lower ECAM display unit MAINTENANCE MODE.
  • The MASTER CAUT light comes on.
  • Ignore the ECAM warnings.
8.Push the line key adjacent to PIN PROG/STATUS AND XLOAD
The EIS (DMC2) PIN PROG/STATUS AND XLOAD shows.
9.Push the line key adjacent to ENGINE
The EIS (DMC2) ENGINE OVER SPD/TEMP shows.
10.Push the line key adjacent to the GENERAL RESET
The overlimit red indexes are reset.
11.Push the line key adjacent to RETURN until the INST MENU comes into view.
The INST MENU comes into view.
12.On the center pedestal on the switching panel 8VU set the selector switch (EIS DMC) to CAPT 3 position.

13.Push the line key adjacent to EIS3
  • EIS (DMC3) page comes into view.
  • On the PFD, ND CAPT side and upper ECAM display unit MAINTENANCE MODE comes into view.
  • The MASTER CAUT light comes on.
  • Ignore the ECAM warnings.
14.Push the line key adjacent to PIN PROG/STATUS AND XLOAD
The EIS (DMC3) PIN PROG/STATUS AND XLOAD shows.
15.Push the line key adjacent to ENGINE
The EIS (DMC3) ENGINE OVER SPD/TEMP shows.
16.Push the line key adjacent to GENERAL RESET
The over limit red indexes are reset.
17.Push the line key adjacent to RETURN until the CFDS MENU comes into view.
The CFDS MENU comes into view.
18.Stop the MCDU

19.On the center pedestal on the switching panel 8VU set the selector switch (EIS DMC) to NORM position.
