(2) Install the manifold (AP21) (6) on the Compressor Intermediate Case (CIC) and the CIC firewall as follows:
(a) Apply theP06-054 compound, paste, anti-seize to the threads of the three bolts (3), the bolt (5), the two bolts (8) and the three bolts (9).
1 For the new or the refurbished bolts or the nuts with the baked-on lubricant, do not do the wet-application.
(b) Apply the paraffin wax blend (Material No.P05-396) or theP05-395 beeswax (was: P06-015) to the new EIPC 75-26-49-02-030 METERING SEAL (1) and the EIPC 75-26-49-02-090 METERING SEAL (10) and the two new EIPC 75-26-49-02-170 GASKETS (11).
(c) Install the two gaskets (11) and the two metering seals (1) and (10) on the manifold (AP21) (6).
(d) Install the manifold (AP21) (6) and the bracket (2) on the CIC with the three bolts (3).
(e) Install the manifold (AP21) (6) on the CIC with the three bolts (9).
(f) Install the manifold (AP21) (6) on the CIC firewall with the two bolts (8).
(g) Install the bracket (2) on the clamp (4) with the bolt (5).
(h) TORQUE the three bolts (3) and (9) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )

(i) TORQUE the two bolts (8) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )

(j) TORQUE the bolt (5) to between 44 and 38 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.43 m.daN )

(3) Install the duct (AP34) (7) on the CIC firewall as follows:
(a) Apply theP06-054 compound, paste, anti-seize to the threads of the three bolts (8).

(b) Install the duct (AP34) (7) on the CIC firewall with the three bolts (8).
(c) TORQUE the three bolts (8) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )

(4) Install the buffer air check valve (Ref. AMM TASK 75-26-03-400-801).
(5) Install the tube (AP23) (22) on the duct (AP34) and the CIC as follows:
(a) Apply the paraffin wax blend (Material No.P05-396) or theP05-395 beeswax (was: P06-015) to the new EIPC 75-26-49-02-030 METERING SEAL (1) and the two new EIPC 75-26-49-02-170 GASKETS (11) and the new EIPC 75-26-49-02-010 GASKET (21).
(b) Install the metering seal (1) and the gaskets (11) and (21) on the tube (AP23) (22).
(c) Apply theP06-054 compound, paste, anti-seize to the threads of the six bolts (3) and the bolt (24).
1 For the new or the refurbished bolts or the nuts with the baked-on lubricant, do not do the wet-application.
(d) Install the tube (AP23) (22) on the duct (AP34) with the three bolts (3).
(e) TORQUE the three bolts (3) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )

(a) Apply the paraffin wax blend (Material No.P05-396) or theP05-395 beeswax (was: P06-015) to the new EIPC 75-26-49-02-020 GASKET (39) and the EIPC 75-26-49-02-030 GASKET (44).
(b) Install the two gaskets (39) and (44) on the tube (AP22) (38).
(c) Apply theP03-001 lubricant, aircraft turbine engine (synthetic base) to the threads of the three nuts (42).
(d) Install the tube (AP22) (38) and the bracket (35) on the LPC buffer air valve with the three bolts (36) and the nuts (42).
(e) TORQUE the three nuts (42) to between 135 and 120 lbf.in (1.53 and 1.36 m.daN )

(f) Apply theP06-054 compound, paste, anti-seize to the threads of the three bolts (3) and the two bolts (5).
1 For the new or the refurbished bolts or the nuts with the baked-on lubricant, do not do the wet-application.
(g) Install the tube (AP22) (38) and the bracket (43) on the duct (AP34) with the three bolts (3).
(h) TORQUE the three bolts (3) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )

(i) Install the tube (AP22) (38) on the bracket with the clamp (37) and the two bolts (5).
(j) TORQUE the two bolts (5) to between 44 and 38 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.43 m.daN )

(c) Connect the tube (AS41) (41) B-nut to the air pressure sensor fingertight.

(e) Install the tube (AS41) (41) on the duct (AP34) with the two bolts (3).

(8) Install the manifold (AP26) (55) on the manifold (AP21) and the duct (AP34) as follows:
(a) Apply the paraffin wax blend (Material No.P05-396) or theP05-395 beeswax (was: P06-015) to the new EIPC 75-26-49-02-020 GASKET (39) and the EIPC 75-26-49-01-010 GASKET (54).
(b) Install the gasket (39) on the duct (AP34).
(c) Install the gasket (54) on the manifold (AP21).
(d) Apply theP06-054 compound, paste, anti-seize to the threads of the three bolts (3) and the three bolts (8).
1 For the new or the refurbished bolts or the nuts with the baked-on lubricant, do not do the wet-application.
(e) Install the manifold (AP26) (55) on the manifold (AP21) with the three bolts (8) fingertight.
(f) Install the manifold (AP26) (55) on the duct (AP34) with the three bolts (3).
(g) TORQUE the three bolts (3) and the three bolts (8) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )

(9) Install the tube (AP29) (66) on the manifold (AP30) and the manifold (AP26) as follows:
(a) Apply the paraffin wax blend (Material No.P05-396) or theP05-395 beeswax (was: P06-015) to the new EIPC 75-26-49-01-080 METERING SEAL (67) and the new EIPC 75-26-49-02-010 GASKET (21).
(b) Install the metering seal (67) and the gasket (21) on the tube (AP29) (66).
(c) Apply theP06-054 compound, paste, anti-seize on the threads of the three bolts (3) and the two bolts (5).
1 For the new or the refurbished bolts or the nuts with the baked-on lubricant, do not do the wet-application.
(d) Connect the tube (AP29) (66) B-nut to the manifold (AP30) fingertight.
(e) Install the tube (AP29) (66) on the manifold (AP26) with the three bolts (3).
(f) TORQUE the three bolts (3) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )

(g) Install the tube (AP29) (66) on the two brackets with the two clamps (65) and the bolts (5).
(h) TORQUE the two bolts (5) to between 44 and 38 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.43 m.daN )

(i) TORQUE the tube (AP29) (66) B-nut to between 1050 and 950 lbf.in (11.87 and 10.74 m.daN )

(10) Install the buffer air heat exchanger (Ref. AMM TASK 75-26-01-400-801).
(11) Install the tube (AD06) (82) on the CIC and the buffer air heat exchanger as follows:
(a) Apply the paraffin wax blend (Material No.P05-396) or theP05-395 beeswax (was: P06-015) to the new EIPC 75-26-01-01-080 METERING PLATE (77) and the new EIPC 75-26-01-01-070 GASKET (78) and the EIPC 75-26-49-03-010 GASKET (85).
(b) Install the metering plate (77) and the two gaskets (78) and (85) on the tube (AD06) (82).
(c) Apply theP06-054 compound, paste, anti-seize to the threads of the two bolts (80) and the four bolts (83).
1 For the new or the refurbished bolts or the nuts with the baked-on lubricant, do not do the wet-application.
(d) Install the tube (AD06) (82) and the bracket (84) on the CIC with the four bolts (83).
(e) TORQUE the four bolts (83) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
in small increments until the same TORQUE indication holds.
(f) Apply theP03-001 lubricant, aircraft turbine engine (synthetic base) on the thread of the coupling (79).
(g) Install the tube (AD06) (82) on the heat exchanger with the coupling (79).
(h) TORQUE the coupling (79) to between 85 and 70 lbf.in (0.96 and 0.79 m.daN )

(i) Tap the coupling with the MALLET - SOFT FACE.
(j) TORQUE the coupling (79) again to between 85 and 70 lbf.in (0.96 and 0.79 m.daN )
.
(k) Install the tube (AD06) (82) on the two brackets with the two clamps (81) and the bolts (80).
(l) TORQUE the two bolts (80) to between 44 and 38 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.43 m.daN )

(m) Install the wiring harness (WC11) on the spring clip.
(12) Install the tube (AP27) (95) on the buffer air heat exchanger and the tube (AP102) as follows:
(a) Apply the paraffin wax blend (Material No.P05-396) or theP05-395 beeswax (was: P06-015) to the new EIPC 75-26-01-01-060 GASKET (96).
(b) Install the gasket (96) on the tube (AP27) (95).
(c) Apply theP06-054 compound, paste, anti-seize to the threads of the three bolts (8).
1 For the new or the refurbished bolts or the nuts with the baked-on lubricant, do not do the wet-application.
(d) Install the tube (AP27) (95) to the buffer air heat exchanger with the three bolts (8).
(e) TORQUE the three bolts (8) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
in small increments until the same TORQUE indication holds.
(f) Connect the tube (AP27) (95) B-nut to the tube (AP102).
(g) TORQUE the B-nut to between 525 and 475 lbf.in (5.93 and 5.37 m.daN )

(13) Install the tube (AP24) (110) on the buffer air heat exchanger and the duct (AP31) as follows:
(a) Apply the paraffin wax blend (Material No.P05-396) or theP05-395 beeswax (was: P06-015) to the new EIPC 75-26-01-01-060 GASKET (96) and the EIPC 75-26-01-01-050 GASKET (109).
(b) Install the gaskets (96) and (109) on the tube (AP24) (110).
(c) Apply theP06-054 compound, paste, anti-seize to the threads of the bolt (5), the three bolts (8), the bolt (80) and the three nuts (106).
1 For the new or the refurbished bolts or the nuts with the baked-on lubricant, do not do the wet-application.
(d) Install the tube (AP24) (110) and the bracket (112) to the duct (AP31) with the three bolts (111) and the three nuts (106).
(e) TORQUE the three nuts (106) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
in small increments until the same TORQUE indication holds.
(f) Install the tube (AP24) (110) and the bracket (108) on the buffer air heat exchanger with the three bolts (8).
(g) TORQUE the three bolts (8) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
in small increments until the same TORQUE indication holds.
(h) Install the tube (AP24) (110) on the bracket with the clamp (107) and the bolt (80).
(i) TORQUE the bolt (80) to between 44 and 38 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.43 m.daN )

(j) Install the clamp and the manifold (DR121) on the bracket (108) with the bolt (5).

(16) Install the tube (AD07) (133) on the buffer air heat exchanger as follows:
(a) Apply the paraffin wax blend (Material No.P05-396) or theP05-395 beeswax (was: P06-015) to the new EIPC 75-26-01-01-090 GASKET (131).
(b) Install the gasket (131) on the buffer air heat exchanger.
(c) Apply theP03-001 lubricant, aircraft turbine engine (synthetic base) to the threads of the coupling (132).
(d) Install the tube (AD07) (133) on the buffer air heat exchanger with the coupling (132).
(e) TORQUE the coupling (132) to between 85 and 70 lbf.in (0.96 and 0.79 m.daN )

(g) Install the tube (AP22) (38) and the bracket (43) on the duct (AP34) with the three bolts (3).
(h) TORQUE the three bolts (3) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
. (i) Install the tube (AP22) (38) on the bracket with the clamp (37) and the two bolts (5).
(j) TORQUE the two bolts (5) to between 44 and 38 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.43 m.daN )

(7) Install the tube (AS41) (41) on the air pressure sensor and the duct (AP34) as follows:
(a) Apply the paraffin wax blend (Material No.P05-396) or the
(b) Install the gasket (40) on the tube (AS41) (41).
(c) Connect the tube (AS41) (41) B-nut to the air pressure sensor fingertight.
(d) Apply the

. (8) Install the manifold (AP26) (55) on the manifold (AP21) and the duct (AP34) as follows:
(a) Apply the paraffin wax blend (Material No.P05-396) or the
(b) Install the gasket (39) on the duct (AP34).
(c) Install the gasket (54) on the manifold (AP21).
(d) Apply the

(e) Install the manifold (AP26) (55) on the manifold (AP21) with the three bolts (8) fingertight.
(f) Install the manifold (AP26) (55) on the duct (AP34) with the three bolts (3).
(g) TORQUE the three bolts (3) and the three bolts (8) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
. (9) Install the tube (AP29) (66) on the manifold (AP30) and the manifold (AP26) as follows:
(a) Apply the paraffin wax blend (Material No.P05-396) or the
(b) Install the metering seal (67) and the gasket (21) on the tube (AP29) (66).
(c) Apply the

(d) Connect the tube (AP29) (66) B-nut to the manifold (AP30) fingertight.
(e) Install the tube (AP29) (66) on the manifold (AP26) with the three bolts (3).
(f) TORQUE the three bolts (3) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
. (g) Install the tube (AP29) (66) on the two brackets with the two clamps (65) and the bolts (5).
(h) TORQUE the two bolts (5) to between 44 and 38 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.43 m.daN )
. (i) TORQUE the tube (AP29) (66) B-nut to between 1050 and 950 lbf.in (11.87 and 10.74 m.daN )
. (10) Install the buffer air heat exchanger (Ref. AMM TASK 75-26-01-400-801).
(11) Install the tube (AD06) (82) on the CIC and the buffer air heat exchanger as follows:
(a) Apply the paraffin wax blend (Material No.P05-396) or the
(b) Install the metering plate (77) and the two gaskets (78) and (85) on the tube (AD06) (82).
(c) Apply the

(d) Install the tube (AD06) (82) and the bracket (84) on the CIC with the four bolts (83).
(e) TORQUE the four bolts (83) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
in small increments until the same TORQUE indication holds. (f) Apply the

(h) TORQUE the coupling (79) to between 85 and 70 lbf.in (0.96 and 0.79 m.daN )
. (i) Tap the coupling with the MALLET - SOFT FACE.
(j) TORQUE the coupling (79) again to between 85 and 70 lbf.in (0.96 and 0.79 m.daN )
. (k) Install the tube (AD06) (82) on the two brackets with the two clamps (81) and the bolts (80).
(l) TORQUE the two bolts (80) to between 44 and 38 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.43 m.daN )
. (m) Install the wiring harness (WC11) on the spring clip.
(12) Install the tube (AP27) (95) on the buffer air heat exchanger and the tube (AP102) as follows:
(a) Apply the paraffin wax blend (Material No.P05-396) or the
(b) Install the gasket (96) on the tube (AP27) (95).
(c) Apply the

(d) Install the tube (AP27) (95) to the buffer air heat exchanger with the three bolts (8).

in small increments until the same TORQUE indication holds. (f) Connect the tube (AP27) (95) B-nut to the tube (AP102).
(g) TORQUE the B-nut to between 525 and 475 lbf.in (5.93 and 5.37 m.daN )
. (13) Install the tube (AP24) (110) on the buffer air heat exchanger and the duct (AP31) as follows:
(a) Apply the paraffin wax blend (Material No.P05-396) or the
(b) Install the gaskets (96) and (109) on the tube (AP24) (110).
(c) Apply the

(d) Install the tube (AP24) (110) and the bracket (112) to the duct (AP31) with the three bolts (111) and the three nuts (106).
(e) TORQUE the three nuts (106) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
in small increments until the same TORQUE indication holds. (f) Install the tube (AP24) (110) and the bracket (108) on the buffer air heat exchanger with the three bolts (8).
(g) TORQUE the three bolts (8) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
in small increments until the same TORQUE indication holds. (h) Install the tube (AP24) (110) on the bracket with the clamp (107) and the bolt (80).
(i) TORQUE the bolt (80) to between 44 and 38 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.43 m.daN )
. (j) Install the clamp and the manifold (DR121) on the bracket (108) with the bolt (5).
(k) TORQUE the bolt (5) to between 44 and 38 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.43 m.daN )
. (l) Connect the wiring harness (WC05) to the two spring clips.
(m) Connect the Environmental Control System (ECS) harness to the two spring clips.
(14) Install the tube (AP28) (121) on the tube (AP27) and the tube (AP101) as follows:
(a) Connect the tube (AP28) (121) B-nut to the tube (AP27) fingertight.
(b) Connect the tube (AP28) (121) B-nut to the tube (AP101).
(c) TORQUE the tube (AP28) (121) B-nuts to between 525 and 475 lbf.in (5.93 and 5.37 m.daN )
. (15) Install the tube (AP43) (Ref. AMM TASK 75-25-49-400-802).
(16) Install the tube (AD07) (133) on the buffer air heat exchanger as follows:
(a) Apply the paraffin wax blend (Material No.P05-396) or the
(b) Install the gasket (131) on the buffer air heat exchanger.
(c) Apply the
(d) Install the tube (AD07) (133) on the buffer air heat exchanger with the coupling (132).
(e) TORQUE the coupling (132) to between 85 and 70 lbf.in (0.96 and 0.79 m.daN )
. (f) Tap the coupling with the MALLET - SOFT FACE.
(g) TORQUE the coupling (132) again to between 85 and 70 lbf.in (0.96 and 0.79 m.daN )
