A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that you did the procedure to prevent engine motoring and to stop the electrical supply to the Electronic Engine Control (EEC)
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-832).

B. Get Access
   (1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):

C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser System for Maintenance
WARNING: YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
   (1) Make sure that you did the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805).

D. Get Access
   (1) Make sure that the left thrust reverser cowl-doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):
     (a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)

   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position.
4. Procedure
Subtask 73-21-70-420-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the EEC Wiring Harness WC11
CAUTION: WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
   (1) Removal of the protection covers
CAUTION: REMOVE THE PROTECTION COVERS FROM THE OPENINGS AS NECESSARY TO PREVENT ENGINE DAMAGE.
     (a) Make sure that you remove all the necessary COVER - PROTECTION to prevent damage to the engine.
   (2) Route the harness (WC11) (1) along the engine. See sheet 1 of the figure.
   (3) Connect the harness (WC11) (1) connectors to the engine as follows:
     (a) Connect the connector (P105) to the harness (W04) receptacle (J105) as follows: See the sheet 2 of the figure.
       1 Examine, align and engage the connector.
       2 Push lightly in on the connector while you tighten the coupling ring.
       3 Use the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT to tighten the connector against the receptacle.
       4 Make sure that you can feel the ratchet feature.
       5 While you tighten, push the connector in and from side to side.
       6 Tighten the connector until the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT slip on the connector ring.
     (b) Connect the connector (P37) to the fuel differential pressure sensor receptacle (J37) as follows: See the sheet 3 of the figure.
       1 Examine, align and engage the connector.
       2 Push lightly in on the connector while you tighten the coupling ring.
       3 Use the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT to tighten the connector against the receptacle.
       4 Make sure that you can feel the ratchet feature.
       5 While you tighten, push the connector in and from side to side.
       6 Tighten the connector until the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT slip on the connector ring.
     (c) Connect the connector (P68) to the fuel return to tank valve receptacle (J68) as follows:
       1 Examine, align and engage the connector.
       2 Push lightly in on the connector while you tighten the coupling ring.
       3 Use the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT to tighten the connector against the receptacle.
       4 Make sure that you can feel the ratchet feature.
       5 While you tighten, push the connector in and from side to side.
       6 Tighten the connector until the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT slip on the connector ring.
   (4) Install the harness (WC11) (1) to the eight spring clips as follows: See the sheet 4 of the figure.
     (a) Start at the middle of the harness (WC11) (1).
     (b) Position and press the harness (WC11) (1) into the eight spring clips.
     (c) Make sure that all the spring clips engage with the harness (WC11) (1).
     (d) Make sure that the tension in the harness (WC11) (1) is sufficient to prevent loose or tight conditions.
   (5) Examine the harness (WC11) (1) for contact with the engine hardware which can cause chafing.
   (6) Examine the assembly for foreign objects, damage and correct assembly.
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).

B. Test
   (1) Make sure that all the circuit breakers shown in the paragraph Procedure of the engine interface unit installation are closed. If they are not, close them in the recommended sequence
(Ref. AMM TASK 73-25-34-400-802)
   (2) Do the Test No. 7 - FADEC System - EEC - Self-Test (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-00-710-806).

C. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the left thrust reverser cowl-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-410-802):
