Subtask 73-21-50-420-093-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the CJ12L Harness
   (1) Remove the caps from the harness connectors, and set the harness in position.
   (2) Install O-ring (18) on the receptacle.
   (3) Install the 6 o'clock receptacle on the 6 o'clock junction box, and attach with the related nut (19) (view W).
   (4) TORQUE the nut (19) to between 158 and 143 lbf.in (1.79 and 1.62 m.daN ) T.
   (5) Safety the nut to the CJ11L connector nut with CP8001lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia. or CP8002lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia.
CAUTION: CAREFULLY ALIGN THE CONNECTOR KEY WITH THE RECEPTACLE KEYWAY BEFORE YOU CONNECT THEM TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE CONNECTORS.
CAUTION: DISTRIBUTE THE SLACK ALL ALONG THE CABLE. DO NOT LET THE CABLE SHEATH TOUCH THE ADJACENT COMPONENTS. DO NOT TWIST THE SHEATH BY MORE THAN 180 DEGREES.
   (6) Connect the electrical connectors:

PRE SB 75-021

     (a) Connect the electrical harness CJ12L to the Variable Stator Vane (VSV) position sensor, the Variable Bleed Valve (VBV) position sensor outer connector channel B (marked CH A), the Burner Staging Valve (BSV) pressure switch (channel B). Connect the J12 harness receptacle in the 6 o'clock junction box as follows:

POST SB 75-021

     (b) Connect the electrical harness CJ12L to the VSV position sensor, the VBV position sensor outer connector (channel B), the BSV pressure switch (channel B). Connect the J12 harness receptacle in the 6 o'clock junction box, as follows:

END OF SB 75-021

     (c) Engage the connector in the related receptacle, and turn the knurled coupling ring by hand until full engagement.
     (d) Tighten the coupling ring with PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
     (e) Make sure that the connector is fully engaged and does not move.
     (f) If necessary, do the above steps again.
   (7) Attach the harness junction box to the bracket installed on the fan frame center hub at the 8:30 o'clock location with bolt (21) lightly lubricated with graphite grease (Material No.
CP2101) . Tighten the bolt (detail B) by hand.
   (8) Install the loop clamps on the electrical harness, and attach the clamps with bolts, the threads lightly lubricated with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) . Tighten the bolts on the items which follow:
     (a) The clamp installed on the Variable Bleed Valve (VBV) fuel gear motor (detail A), with CJ11L loop clamp.

PRE SB 72-007

     (b) The bracket at the 8 o'clock location on the fan frame center hub (detail C).

POST SB 72-007
