A. Installation of the CJ11L Harness
(1) Remove the caps from the connectors, and set the harness in position.
(2) Install O-ring (18) on the receptacle.
(3) Install the 6 o'clock receptacle on the 6 o'clock junction box, and attach with nut (2). (view W)
(4) TORQUE the nut (2) to between 158 and 143 lbf.in (1.79 and 1.62 m.daN )
.
(5) Safety the nut to the CJ12L connector nut withCP8001 lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia. or CP8002 lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia .
PRE SB 75-021
(a) Connect the electrical harness CJ11L to the Burner Staging Valve (BSV) pressure switch connector, (channel A), and the Variable Bleed Valve (VBV) position sensor inner connector (core side, channel B) and connect the J11 harness connector in the 6 o'clock junction box as follows:
POST SB 75-021
(b) Connect the electrical harness CJ11L to the BSV pressure switch connector, (channel A), and the VBV position sensor inner connector (core side, channel A) and connect the J11 harness connector in the 6 o'clock junction box as follows:
END OF SB 75-021
1 Engage the connector in the related receptacle, and turn the knurled coupling ring by hand until full engagement.
2 Tighten the coupling ring with PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
3 Make sure that the connector is fully engaged and does not move.
4 Do again the above steps, if necessary.
(7) Install the loop clamps on the electrical harness. Attach the clamps with bolts, the threads of the bolts lightly lubricated with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) . Tighten the bolts by hand on the items which follow:
(a) The clamp installed on VBV gear motor (detail A), with the CJ12L loop clamp.
(b) The bracket installed at 8 o'clock on core engine (detail B).
PRE SB 72-019
(c) The bracket at the 7 o'clock location on the core engine (detail C) with nut (9).
POST SB 72-019
(d) The bracket at the 7 o'clock location on the core engine (detail C).
END OF SB 72-019
(e) The support on the left side of the 6 o'clock junction box (detail D), with the CJ12L loop clamp.
(f) The bracket on the rear face of the 6 o'clock junction box (detail E), with the CJ12L loop clamps.
(8) Make sure that the harness is not stressed. TORQUE bolts which attach the clamps to between 50 and 45 lbf.in (0.57 and 0.51 m.daN )
.
