A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
   (3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.

4. Procedure
Subtask 71-51-43-420-060-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Left Side Harness
NOTE: For the recommended procedure for the installation of the wire harness (Ref. AMM TASK 70-60-00-910-041).
NOTE: To tighten the flip-lock clamps and line blocks, turn the captive screws or captive bolts 1/4 turn clockwise to engage the cam nuts.
   (1) Remove the protective covers from the electrical connectors.
   (2) Put the electrical harness (5) in position on the engine.
   (3) Connect the electrical connector 447VC-A to the pylon junction box.
   (4) Connect the electrical connector 4005VC to the electrical connector 4005VC-A.
   (5) Put the harness (5) into the rubber supports of the line blocks (10).
   (6) If removed, put the rubber supports in the line blocks (10) that attach the harness (5) to the brackets on the RH side of the engine at station 167.
   (7) Close the line blocks (10) and tighten the captive bolts.

   (8) Put the harness (5) into the rubber supports of the line blocks (10), (15), (20) and (40) along the top left side of the engine.
   (9) Put the rubber supports in the line block (10) at station 174, the line block (15)at station 176, the line block (20) at station 185 and the line block (40) at station 191.
   (10) Make sure that the harness (5) is correctly installed on the engine.
   (11) Close the line blocks (10), (15), (20) and (40) and tighten the captive bolts.

CONFIG-1

   (12) Put the harness (5) into the one flip-lock clamp (30), the 3 flip-lock clamps (35) and the one flip-lock clamp (45) at station 191 and the tighten the captive screws.

CONFIG-2

   (13) Put the harness (5) into the 2 flip-lock clamps (25), the 2 flip-lock clamps (35) and the one flip-lock clamp (45) at station 191 and tighten the captive screws.

END CONFIG-2

   (14) At station 191, attach the ground wires to the ground studs with the nuts (60), the lockwashers (65) and the washers (70).
   (15) As required, tie the ground wires together with fiberglass tie CP5084tape, tying to prevent cross wires.

   (16) Put the harness (5) in the flip-lock clamp (30) and tighten the captive screw.
   (17) Connect the electrical connector 4000EL-A to the fuel filter differential pressure switch.
   (18) Connect the electrical connector 4003EN-A to the oil pressure transmitter.
   (19) Connect the electrical connector 4000EN-A to the low oil pressure switch.
   (20) Put the harness (5) into the line block (55) rubber support.
   (21) Put the rubber support in the line block (55) at station 167. Close the line block and tighten the captive bolt.
   (22) Put the harness (5) into the line blocks (40) and (50) rubber supports.
   (23) Put the rubber supports in the line blocks (40) and (50) along station 158. Close the line blocks and tighten the captive bolts.

   (24) Connect the harness (5) electrical connector to the adapter on the bracket.
   (25) Connect the jumper harness (12) to the adapter on the bracket.
   (26) Connect the electrical connector 1074GK-A or 3074GD-A, as applicable, to the hydraulic pressure caution switch.
   (27) Install the nut, bolt, washer and clamps (11) that attach the jumper harness (12) to the hydraulic suction hose.
   (28) TORQUE the nut (11) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN ) T.

   (29) Connect the electrical connector 1074GK-A or 3074GD-A, as applicable, to the hydraulic pressure caution switch.
   (30) At station 158, attach the ground wires to the ground studs with the nuts (60), the lockwashers (65) and the washers (70).
   (31) As required, tie the ground wires together with fiberglass tie CP5084tape, tying to prevent cross wires.

   (32) Put the harness (5) in the flip-lock clamp (30) and tighten the captive screw.
   (33) Connect the electrical connector 4007EN-A to the oil chip detector.
   (34) Connect the electrical connector 4002EN-A to the oil quantity transmitter.
   (35) Put the harness (5) into the rubber supports for line blocks (40) and (55).
   (36) Make sure that the harness (5) is correctly installed on the engine.
   (37) Put the rubber supports in the line blocks (40) at stations 191 and 199. Close the line blocks and tighten the captive bolts.
   (38) Put the rubber supports in the line blocks (55) at station 199. Close the line blocks and tighten the captive bolts.
   (39) Put the clamp (80) on the harness (5). Attach the clamp (80) to the bracket on station 199 with the bolt (75).
   (40) TORQUE the bolt (75) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN ) T.
   (41) Connect the electrical connector 4000KC-A to the high pressure fuel shutoff.
   (42) Put the harness (5) into the rubber supports for line blocks (50) and (55).
   (43) Make sure that the harness (5) is correctly installed on the engine.
   (44) Put the rubber supports in the line blocks (50) and (55) along station 158. Close the line blocks and tighten the captive bolts.
   (45) Put the harness (5) in the flip-lock clamp (105) and tighten the captive screw.

AFTER SPIB NO. CFM02255MW1

   (46) Put the harness (5) into the rubber support of the line block (10) along the top left side of the engine.
   (47) Put the rubber support in the line block (10) at station 174.
   (48) Install the clamps and bolt (17) that attach the harness (5) to the bracket at station 176.
   (49) Install the clamps and bolt (22) that attach the harness (5) to the bracket at station 185.
   (50) Put the harness into the flip-lock clamp (32) near station 191.
   (50) Install the nuts, bolts and clamps (32) that attach the harness (5) to the brackets at station 191.
   (51) Install the bolt and clamp (42) and (47) that attach the harness (5) to the brackets at station 191.
   (52) At station 191, attach the ground wires to the ground studs with the nuts (60), lockwashers (65) and washers (70).
   (53) As required, tie the ground wires together with fiberglass tie CP5084tape, tying to prevent cross wires.

   (54) Tighten the captive screws on flip-lock clamps (30) and (35) near station 191.
   (55) Connect the electrical connector 4000EL-A to the fuel filter differential pressure switch.
   (56) Connect the electrical connector 4003EN-A to the oil pressure transmitter.
   (57) Connect the electrical connector 4000EN-A to the low oil pressure switch.
   (58) Install the bolt and clamps and anti-rotation lug (57) that attach the harness (5) to the bracket at station 167.
   (59) Install the bolts, clamps and anti-rotation lug (43) that attach the harness (5) to the brackets at station 158.

   (60) Connect the harness (5) electrical connector to the adapter on the bracket.
   (61) Connect the jumper harness (12) to the adapter on the bracket.
   (62) Connect the electrical connector 1074GK-A or 3074GD-A, as applicable, to the hydraulic pressure caution switch.
   (63) Install the nut, bolt, washer and clamps (11) that attach the jumper harness (12) to the hydraulic suction hose.
   (64) TORQUE the nut (11) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN ) T.

   (65) Install the nut, bolt, washer and clamps (13) that attach the harness (5) to the hydraulic suction hose.

   (67) At station 158, attach the ground wires to the ground studs with the nuts (60), lockwashers (65) and washers (70).

   (69) Put the harness (5) in the flip-lock clamp (33) and tighten the captive screw.
   (70) Connect the electrical connector 4007EN-A to the oil chip detector.
   (71) Connect the electrical connector 4002EN-A to the oil quantity transmitter.
   (72) Put the harness (5) into the rubber supports for line blocks (40) and (55).
   (73) Put the rubber supports in the line blocks (40) and (55) that attach the harness (5) to the brackets at stations 191 and 199. Close the line blocks and tighten the captive bolts.
   (74) Install the bolt, clamps and anti-rotation lug (49) that attach the harness (5) to the bracket at station 199.
   (75) Put the clamp (80) on the harness (5). Attach the clamp (80) to the bracket at station 199 with the bolt (75).
   (76) TORQUE the bolt (75) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN ) T.
   (77) Connect the electrical connector 4000KC-A to the high pressure fuel shutoff.
   (78) Put the harness (5) into the rubber supports for line blocks (50) and (55) along station 158.
   (79) Make sure that the harness (5) is correctly installed on the engine.
   (80) Put the rubber supports in the line blocks (50) and (55) along station 158. Close the line blocks and tighten the captive bolts.
   (81) Install the bolt, clamps and anti-rotation lug (58) that attach the harness (5) to the bracket at station 158.
   (82) Install the bolt and clamp (107) that attach the harness (5) to the bracket at station 158.
   (83) TORQUE the bolts (17), (22), (32), (42), (43), (47), (49), (57), (58) and (107) to between 30 and 25 lbf.in (0.34 and 0.28 m.daN )
T.

   (84) Put the clamp (100) on the harness (5). Attach the clamp (100) to the bracket on station 158 with the bolt (95).
   (85) TORQUE the bolt (95) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

   (86) Put the clamp (90) on the harness (5). Attach the clamp (90) to the bracket on the gearbox with the bolt (75) and the nut (85).
   (87) TORQUE the nut (85) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )
T.
   (88) Connect the electrical connector 4004EN-A to the oil temperature sensor.
   (89) Connect the electrical connector 4001EN-A to the oil differential pressure switch.
   (90) Connect the electrical connector 1030GK or 3030GD-A, as applicable, to the hydraulic pump bypass valve and tighten the connector until the colored stripes on the receptacle go out of view when the connector is locked.
   (91) Examine the harness installation and make sure that the flip-lock clamps, the line blocks and the clamps are installed correctly.

   (92) Apply the tape.
CAUTION: YOU MUST WIND THE TWO HARNESSES WITH TAPE (CP 2739) IF THEY TOUCH. IF YOU DO NOT WIND THE HARNESSES WITH TAPE IT CAN DAMAGE THE HARNESSES.
     (a) Wind the tape (Material No.
CP2739) on the two harnesses in the areas shown.
       1 Wind the tape so that each wind overlaps the last wind by half the width of the tape.
