B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Do an EIS start procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (2) On the ECAM control panel, push the DOOR key (on the lower ECAM display unit, the DOOR/OXY page comes into view).

4. Procedure

A. Operational Test of the Warning System Related to the Emergency Exit
   (1) Do the test below:

RESULT
1.On the hatch (left emergency exit):
  • Pull down the cover flap (2) and remove it from the hatch lining.
On the lower ECAM DU, on the "DOOR/OXY" page:
  • The symbol of the left emergency-exit and the "EMER EXIT" message come into view in amber.
  • "SLIDE ARMED" indicator light 2WN1 (3) comes on.
  • Turn the head of the latch pin (1) a quarter turn counterclockwise to retract the latch pin to the DISARMED position.
  • "SLIDE ARMED" indicator light 2WN1 (3) goes off.
    On the lower ECAM DU, on the "DOOR/OXY" page:
  • The SLIDE indication goes off.
2.On the hatch (left emergency exit):
  • Push the latch pin (1) against the spring and turn its head a quarter turn clockwise to extend the latch pin in the ARMED position.
  • "SLIDE ARMED" indicator light 2WN1 (3) comes on.
    On the lower ECAM DU, on the "DOOR/OXY" page:
  • The "SLIDE" indication comes on.
  • Install the cover flap (2) on the hatch lining and push it against the hatch.
  • "SLIDE ARMED" indicator light 2WN1 (3) goes off.
    On the lower ECAM DU, on the "DOOR/OXY" page:
  • The symbol of the left emergency-exit becomes green.
  • The "EMER EXIT" message for the left emergency exit goes off.
   (2) Make sure that the clearance between the target and the related proximity switch is in the limits (Ref. AMM TASK 52-71-13-400-001).
   (3) Do steps (1) and (2) for the right emergency-exits.
NOTE: The FIN of the "SLIDE ARMED" indicator light (3) side is 2WN2.
5. Close-up

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
