C. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position in front of the passenger/crew door at zone 831, 832, 841 or 842.
   (2) Open the applicable passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
   (3) Obey the special precautions before you start the work on the door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-001).
   (4) Disarm the escape slides of the four emergency exits doors (3):
     (a) Open and remove the flaps (2) from the four emergency exits doors (3).
NOTE: The two SLIDE ARMED indicator lights (4) come on.
     (b) On the four emergency exits doors (3), use the applicable wrench to turn the head of the latch pin (1) a quarter turn counterclockwise to retract the latch pin (1).
NOTE: The two SLIDE ARMED indicator lights (4) go off.
     (c) Install and close the flaps (2) on the four emergency exits doors (3).

C. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position in front of the passenger/crew door at zone 831, 841, 832 or 842.
   (2) Open the applicable passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
   (3) Obey the special precautions before you start the work on the door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-001).
   (4) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in front of the applicable emergency exit door at zone 833, 834, 843 or 844.
   (5) Open the applicable emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-002).
   (6) Obey the safety precautions before you start the work on the emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-003).
   (7) Close the doors from the inside.

C. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position in front of the passenger/crew door at zone 831, 832, 841 or 842.

   (3) Obey the special precautions before you start the work on the door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-001).

   (5) Open the applicable emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-002).
   (6) Obey the safety precautions before you start the work on the emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-003).
   (7) Close the doors from the inside.

D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE SLIDING WINDOW IS OPEN. THIS PREVENTS PRESSURIZATION OF THE AIRCRAFT WHEN THE AVIONICS VENTILATION SYSTEM OPERATES AND ALL THE DOORS ARE CLOSED.
   (1) Make sure that all the doors are closed.
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) On the ECAM control panel, push the DOOR key. On the lower ECAM Display Unit (DU), the "DOOR/OXY" page comes into view.
   (4) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position on the applicable door to tell persons not to open the door during the test procedure.
   (5) Make sure that these doors are closed and locked:
  • The four avionics compartment access-doors
  • The forward and aft cargo-compartment doors (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002)
  • The four passenger/crew doors
  • The bulk cargo-compartment door (if installed)
  • The entrance stairs door (if installed)
  • The emergency exit doors.

D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE SLIDING WINDOW IS OPEN. THIS PREVENTS PRESSURIZATION OF THE AIRCRAFT WHEN THE AVIONICS VENTILATION SYSTEM OPERATES AND ALL THE DOORS ARE CLOSED.
   (1) Make sure that all the doors are closed.
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) On the ECAM control panel, push the DOOR key. On the lower ECAM DU, the "DOOR/OXY" page comes into view.
   (4) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position on the applicable door to tell persons not to open the door during the test procedure.

     (e) Make sure that the SLIDE ARMED indicator lights (4) go off.
   (2) Obey the special precautions after the work on the door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-002).
   (3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (4) Close the applicable passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
   (5) Remove the access platform(s).
   (6) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

   (1) Obey the special precautions after the work on the door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-002).
   (2) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (3) Close the applicable passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
   (4) Obey the special precautions after the work on the emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-860-004).
   (5) Close the applicable emergency exit door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-002).
   (6) Remove the access platform(s).
   (7) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
