3. Job Set-up
Subtask 49-91-49-860-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) On overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is OFF).
   (3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
   (4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
   (5) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position below the APU compartment.
   (6) Make sure that APU access doors 315AL and 316AR are open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
   (7) Make sure that the light switch 11LJ is in the ON position.

4. Procedure

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Do the BITE test of the De-Oiling Solenoid Valve via the ECB-Self Test (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-710-009).
Subtask 49-91-49-710-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
E. Start and Operate the APU.
   (1) Close the APU access doors (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
   (2) Start the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-008).
   (3) Let the APU run for 5 minutes.
   (4) Shut down the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-009).
   (5) Open the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
   (6) Do a leak check of the De-Oil Solenoid.
NOTE: No leaks are permitted.
5. Close-up
Subtask 49-91-49-410-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
   (3) Set the light switch 11LJ to the OFF position.
   (4) Remove the access platform(s).

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (2) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (3) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
   (4) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
