A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3) Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5) Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
(6) Make sure that the APU access doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(7) Make sure that the LIGHT control switch 11LJ is set to the on position.
Subtask 49-51-19-865-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

A. Installation
(2) Remove the blank caps from the new sensor.
(3) Lubricate the threads of the bolts (2) with Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine - - (Material No.03ABA1) or Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine Low Temp. - (Material No.03ABB1) .
(4) Install the sensor (1) on the intake mount boss with the bolts (2), secure the bonding strap (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(5) TORQUE the bolts (2) to between 44 and 36 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.41 m.daN )

(6) Connect the tube (4) to the sensor (1).
(7) TORQUE the tube nut (4) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )

(8) Connect the tube (5) to the sensor (1).

(10) TORQUE the tube nut (5) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
.
(11) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(12) Connect the electrical connector (3) to the sensor (1).
Subtask 49-51-19-865-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
YOU MUST USE TWO WRENCHES AND HOLD THE COMPONENT WHEN YOU REMOVE/INSTALL THE PIPE COUPLINGS AND/OR UNIONS. THIS PREVENTS DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENT.
CAUTION:
-YOU MUST NOT INCREASE THE TIGHTENING TORQUE MORE THAN THE MAXIMUM VALUE.
(1) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.- APPLY ALL TIGHTENING TORQUES WITH A TORQUE WRENCH OR A CALIBRATED SCREWDRIVER.
(2) Remove the blank caps from the new sensor.
(3) Lubricate the threads of the bolts (2) with Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine - - (Material No.03ABA1) or Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine Low Temp. - (Material No.03ABB1) .
(4) Install the sensor (1) on the intake mount boss with the bolts (2), secure the bonding strap (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(5) TORQUE the bolts (2) to between 44 and 36 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.41 m.daN )
. (6) Connect the tube (4) to the sensor (1).
(7) TORQUE the tube nut (4) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
. (8) Connect the tube (5) to the sensor (1).
NOTE: It may be necessary to adjust the angle of the elbow to align with the tube (5), if it is, do step (9).
(9) TORQUE the elbow and nut (if necessary) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
. (10) TORQUE the tube nut (5) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
. (11) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(12) Connect the electrical connector (3) to the sensor (1).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Do the self-test of the ECB (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-710-005).
(1) Operate the APU for min. five minutes and examine the joints of the compressor discharge-pressure sensor for leaks.

NOTE: Leaks are not permitted.
Subtask 49-51-19-410-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Set the LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the off position.
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
Subtask 49-51-19-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Set the LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the off position.
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
