A. Installation of the Oil Transfer Tube
(2) Apply a small amount of Lubricant-General Assembly - Turbine Engine (Material No.03PGG6) fluid to the end of the oil transfer tube (2).
(4) Apply Grease-Thread Anti-seize Graphited and Petrolatum - (Material No.03LBB1) to the threads of the oil transfer tube (2).
.
.
(8) Clean the oil transfer tube (2) and oil line (4) with a Non Aqueous Cleaner-Non structural use - - (Material No.08BPA1) .
(9) Clean the APU compartment and remove presence of oil inside the compartment with cleaning solvent.
Subtask 49-21-00-865-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: This installation procedure is applicable to the oil scavenge transfer-tube (6 o'clock position), oil supply transfer-tube (11 o'clock position) and oil vent transfer-tube (1 o'clock position).
(1) Clean the end of the oil transfer tube (2). (2) Apply a small amount of Lubricant-General Assembly - Turbine Engine (Material No.03PGG6) fluid to the end of the oil transfer tube (2).
NOTE: The assembly fluid will help retain the copper seal (1) during installation of the oil transfer tube (2).
(3) Install the copper seal (1) onto the end of the oil transfer tube (2). (4) Apply Grease-Thread Anti-seize Graphited and Petrolatum - (Material No.03LBB1) to the threads of the oil transfer tube (2).

(5) Install the oil transfer tube (2). CAUTION:
USE A COUNTER TORQUE WRENCH TO HOLD THE OIL TRANSFER TUBE WHILE CONNECTING THE NUT ON THE OIL SCAVENGE LINE.
(6) TORQUE the oil transfer tube (2) to between 2.3 and 1.89 m.daN (16.96 and 13.94 lbf.ft )
. NOTE: When tightening the B-nut (3) on the oil line (4) that attaches to the oil transfer tube (2), it is important that 2 wrenches be used to minimize the movement of the oil transfer tube (2) to the rear bearing housing. One to hold the oil transfer tube (2) and the second wrench to connect the B-NUT (3) on the oil line (4).
(7) TORQUE the B-nut (3) on the oil line (4) to between 16.5 and 13.5 lbf.ft (2.24 and 1.83 m.daN )
. (8) Clean the oil transfer tube (2) and oil line (4) with a Non Aqueous Cleaner-Non structural use - - (Material No.08BPA1) .
