A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

B. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(2) On ENG panel 115VU, put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start engine 1(2).
(3) On the ENG section of panel 50VU:
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(2) On ENG panel 115VU, put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start engine 1(2).
(3) On the ENG section of panel 50VU:
- Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

A. Operational Test of the Overheat Detection System
(1) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(2) Do the BITE Test of the EBAS with printing of the TEST RESULT page (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-00-740-804).
(3) Make sure that the TEST RESULT pages do not show these maintenance indications:
5. Close-up(1) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(2) Do the BITE Test of the EBAS with printing of the TEST RESULT page (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-00-740-804).
(3) Make sure that the TEST RESULT pages do not show these maintenance indications:
