. (14) Connect each pull flag (7) with the snap hook (6) of related mask (8).
(15) Connect each mask lanyard (5) with its free loop end to the snap hook (6) of related mask (8).
WARNING:
AFTER YOU INSTALL THE GENERATORS IN THE EMERGENCY OXYGEN CONTAINERS, REMOVE THE SAFETY RINGS OR SAFETY PINS FROM THE GENERATORS. IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THEM, THE GENERATORS WILL NOT OPERATE.
(16) Remove the safety pin with the warning flag (12) only if the release pin (15) is installed. (17) Put the ejector cradle (10) of the door assembly onto the oxygen generator (3)
(18) Put the loop strip of the ejector cradle (10) into the hook portion fastener.
(19) Put the masks (8) into the emergency oxygen container (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 35-21-43-550-801).

2 Install the housing of firing pin (16) into the foam pad (10).
(d) Turn the oxygen generator (7) until you can see the HOT-label.
(e) Attach the oxygen generator (7) with the spring bridle (5).
(f) Put the ends of the spring bridle (5) into the holes in bottom of the emergency oxygen container (12).
(10) If applicable, connect the pull flag(s) (15) to the related snap hook(s) (2) of the mask(s) (3).
(11) Connect the loops of the mask lanyards (1) to the snap hook (2) of the oxygen masks (3).
(12) Make sure that the eyelet of the release pin (11) points out of the oxygen container (12).
(14) Put the mask assemblies (3) into the emergency oxygen container (12) (Ref. AMM TASK 35-21-43-550-801).
5. Close-upCAUTION:
DO NOT PULL THE MASK LANYARD FROM THE END WITH THE RELEASE PIN. IF YOU PULL ON THIS END OF THE LANYARD, YOU WILL REMOVE THE RELEASE PIN AND START A FLOW OF OXYGEN WHICH CANNOT BE STOPPED.
(1) Wear GLOVES - COTTON, LINT-FREE, CLEAN when you work on the oxygen system. (2) Make sure that the oxygen generator (7) to be installed has the correct P/N.
(3) Remove and discard the used test button label (14).
(4) Write the date (month, year) in the space of the new test button label (14).
For part number of test button label (14) refer to CMM of emergency oxygen container.
(5) Attach the new test button label (14) to the end of the test button (8).
(6) Install the supply hoses (4) on the outlets of the outlet manifold (13) (Ref. AMM TASK 35-21-43-400-001).
(7) Install the ejector strips (6) to the door of the emergency oxygen container (12).
(8) Install the release pin (11):
(a) Install the release pin (11) together with lanyards (1) into the mounting hole of the firing pin (16).
NOTE: One mask lanyard must be installed in the eyelet of the release pin. The remaining mask lanyard must be installed on the release pin.
(9) Install the oxygen generator (7) in the emergency oxygen container (12): NOTE: The correct position of the oxygen generator is related to the container type:
(a) Install the spring bridle (5) into the openings of the emergency oxygen container (12). - For a LH type, the actuator with the pull pin must point to the left.
- For a RH type, the actuator with the pull pin must point to the right.
