(1) Obey the special precautions when you do work on a gaseous oxygen system (Ref. AMM TASK 35-00-00-860-001).(2) Make sure that there is a good airflow through the work area.
C. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at access door 812.
(2) Open access door 812 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).

(1) If the manual shutoff valve (1) of crew oxygen-storage cylinder 5750HM is closed, do as follows:
(a) Open the manual shutoff valve (1) of the crew oxygen-storage cylinder:

(a) Open the manual shutoff valve (1) of the crew oxygen-storage cylinder:
CAUTION:
TURN THE MANUAL SHUTOFF VALVES VERY SLOWLY ON ALL THE CREW OXYGEN-STORAGE CYLINDERS UNTIL THEY ARE FULLY OPEN. IF YOU TURN THE MANUAL SHUTOFF VALVES TOO QUICKLY, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
1 Very slowly open the manual shutoff valve (1) (3 to 4 turns) of crew oxygen-storage cylinder 5750HM.2 Let the pressure become stable for approximately 90 seconds.
CAUTION:
TURN THE HANDVALVES ON ALL OXYGEN BOTTLES UNTIL THEY ARE FULLY OPEN. IF THE HANDVALVES ARE NOT FULLY OPEN BEFORE FLIGHT, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE OXYGEN PRESSURE DATA ON THE ECAM DOOR/OXY PAGE WILL NOT BE CORRECT.
3 Fully open the manual shutoff valve (1) of crew oxygen-storage cylinder 5750HM.E. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) If the manual shutoff valves (1) and (2) of crew oxygen-storage cylinders 5750HM1 and 5750HM2 are closed, do as follows:

(1) In the cockpit, on the overhead panel, on the OXYGEN section of panel 21VU:
(a) Push the CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch (the OFF legend goes off).
(2) On one of the oxygen-mask stowage boxes, push and hold the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control lever. At the same time, push and hold the PRESS TO TEST/EMERGENCY knob on the mask regulator:
(a) Keep the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control lever and the PRESS TO TEST/EMERGENCY knob pushed for a minimum of three seconds.
(b) Make sure that you can hear the sound of the oxygen flow.
(c) Release the PRESS TO TEST/EMERGENCY knob.
(d) Release the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control lever.
(3) In the cockpit, on the overhead panel, on the OXYGEN section of panel 21VU:
(a) Release the CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch (the OFF legend comes on).
(4) If no other maintenance procedure is necessary after the bleeding of the crew oxygen system, go to the Para. Close-up.
Subtask 35-10-00-870-051-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) In the cockpit, on the overhead panel, on the OXYGEN section of panel 21VU:

(e) Make sure that the PRESS TO TEST/EMERGENCY knob is not in the EMERGENCY position.(3) In the cockpit, on the overhead panel, on the OXYGEN section of panel 21VU:

(a) On the CAPT oxygen-mask stowage-box, push and hold the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control lever. At the same time, push and hold the PRESS TO TEST/EMERGENCY knob on the mask regulator:
1 Keep the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control lever and the PRESS TO TEST/EMERGENCY knob pushed for a minimum of three seconds.
2 Make sure that you can hear the sound of the oxygen flow.
3 Release the PRESS TO TEST/EMERGENCY knob.
4 Release the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control lever.
(3) FOR [5750HM2] (OXYGEN CYLINDER)
(a) On the F/O oxygen-mask stowage-box, push and hold the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control lever. At the same time, push and hold the PRESS TO TEST/EMERGENCY knob on the mask regulator:
1 Keep the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control lever and the PRESS TO TEST/EMERGENCY knob pushed for a minimum of three seconds.
2 Make sure that you can hear the sound of the oxygen flow.
3 Release the PRESS TO TEST/EMERGENCY knob.
4 Release the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control lever.
(4) In the cockpit, on the overhead panel, on the OXYGEN section of panel 21VU:
