A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the stepladder is in position below ceiling panel 241CC.
(2) Make sure that ceiling panel 241CC is removed.
(3) Make sure that switch 2LV BEACON ON-OFF on overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.
(4) Make sure that switch 4WL EMER EXIT LT OFF-ARM-ON on overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.
(5) Make sure that the pushbutton EMERG LIGHT on Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH is in the released position.
Subtask 33-48-11-860-054-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the stepladder is in position below ceiling panel 241CC.
(2) Make sure that ceiling panel 241CC is removed.

(1) Make sure that the STEPLADDER 1.5 M (5 FT) is in position below the center ceiling panel 241CC.
(2) Make sure that the ceiling panel 241CC is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
(3) Make sure that the switch 2LV BEACON ON-OFF on the overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.
(4) Make sure that the switch 4WL EMER EXIT LT OFF-ARM-ON on the overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.
(5) Make sure that the EMER button on the Flight Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH is OFF.
Subtask 33-48-11-865-055-A (1) Make sure that the STEPLADDER 1.5 M (5 FT) is in position below the center ceiling panel 241CC.
(2) Make sure that the ceiling panel 241CC is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
(3) Make sure that the switch 2LV BEACON ON-OFF on the overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.
(4) Make sure that the switch 4WL EMER EXIT LT OFF-ARM-ON on the overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.

B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

Subtask 33-48-11-420-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of Upper Beacon/Strobe Light 7LV
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Prepare the electrical bonding point at the flange (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(4) Put the light assembly (2) and the seal (12) in the correct installation position on the moveable part of the flange (3):
(a) Make sure that the seal (12) is in good condition.
(b) If necessary, install the new AIPC 33-48-11-01-040 SEAL (12).
(5) Loosely install the screws (5).
(6) Tighten the screws (5) in the correct sequence.
(7) Apply Polysulfide Sealant_General Purpose Brushable - (Material No.06AAA1) to the heads of the screws (5) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802) and let it dry.
(8) Apply Varnish-- Electrical Bonding Structure (Material No.04TMB2) to the heads of the screws (5) to make the electrical bonding.
(9) Put the O-ring (4) and the movable part of the flange (3) in the correct installation position:
(a) Make sure that the O-ring (4) is in good condition.
(b) If necessary, install the new AIPC 33-48-04-01-090 O-RING (4).
(10) Put and hold the moveable part of the flange (3) in the correct installation position.
(11) Install the V-clamp (6).
(12) Tighten the screw (7).
(13) Safety the screw (7) with Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) .
(14) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
Subtask 33-48-11-420-052-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Prepare the electrical bonding point at the flange (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(4) Put the light assembly (2) and the seal (12) in the correct installation position on the moveable part of the flange (3):
(a) Make sure that the seal (12) is in good condition.
(b) If necessary, install the new AIPC 33-48-11-01-040 SEAL (12).
(5) Loosely install the screws (5).
(6) Tighten the screws (5) in the correct sequence.
(7) Apply Polysulfide Sealant_General Purpose Brushable - (Material No.06AAA1) to the heads of the screws (5) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802) and let it dry.
(8) Apply Varnish-- Electrical Bonding Structure (Material No.04TMB2) to the heads of the screws (5) to make the electrical bonding.
(9) Put the O-ring (4) and the movable part of the flange (3) in the correct installation position:
(a) Make sure that the O-ring (4) is in good condition.
(b) If necessary, install the new AIPC 33-48-04-01-090 O-RING (4).
(10) Put and hold the moveable part of the flange (3) in the correct installation position.
(11) Install the V-clamp (6).
(12) Tighten the screw (7).
(13) Safety the screw (7) with Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) .
(14) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(15) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the light assembly (2). A. Installation of Upper Beacon/Strobe Light 7LV
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Prepare the electrical bonding point at the flange (7) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(4) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) and Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) to the heads of the screws (4) to make the electrical bonding.
(5) Put the LED module (5) in the correct installation position on the flange (7).
(6) Loosely install the screws (4).
(7) Tighten the screws (4) in the correct sequence.
(8) Install the O-ring (6) on the flange (7):
(a) Make sure that the O-ring (6) is in good condition.
(b) If necessary, install a new AIPC 33-48-04-01-090 ORING (6) or AIPC 33-48-84-01-100 ORING (6) on the flange (7).
(9) Put and hold the flange (7) in the correct installation position.
(10) Install the clamp (10).
(11) Tighten the screw (9) of the clamp (10).
(12) Safety the screw (9) with Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) .
(13) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
Subtask 33-48-11-860-053-A (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Prepare the electrical bonding point at the flange (7) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(4) Apply Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) and Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) to the heads of the screws (4) to make the electrical bonding.
(5) Put the LED module (5) in the correct installation position on the flange (7).
(6) Loosely install the screws (4).
(7) Tighten the screws (4) in the correct sequence.
(8) Install the O-ring (6) on the flange (7):
(a) Make sure that the O-ring (6) is in good condition.
(b) If necessary, install a new AIPC 33-48-04-01-090 ORING (6) or AIPC 33-48-84-01-100 ORING (6) on the flange (7).
(9) Put and hold the flange (7) in the correct installation position.
(10) Install the clamp (10).
(11) Tighten the screw (9) of the clamp (10).
(12) Safety the screw (9) with Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) .
(13) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(14) Connect the electrical connector (8) to the LED module (5). B. Preparation for the Test
Subtask 33-48-11-865-056-A WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT. UNWANTED ELECTRICAL POWER CAN BE DANGEROUS.
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002). C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Operational Test
(1) Do the operational test of the upper beacon/strobe light (7LV) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-48-00-710-001).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the center ceiling panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-400-001).
(3) Remove the stepladder.
