Subtask 32-51-19-220-050-A
A. Check of the Voltage at the Sensor Connector
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector 3GC-A (4GC-A) from the sensor 3GC (4GC).
(2) Connect the F26792000 SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST or F26792000-1 SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST between the connector of the sensor 3GC (4GC) and the connector 3GC-A (4GC-A).
(3) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(4) Connect a VOLTMETER - AC, 0-20 V MIN, 0,001 V, 50 TO 2000 HTZ to the SECONDARY VOLTAGE connections on the F26792000 SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST or F26792000-1 SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST.
(5) Check of the play on the NLG cams
(a) On the F26792000 SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST or F26792000-1 SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST, set the selector switch to U1.
(b) Manually move the wheels in steering mode on the RH stop. Record the voltage U1.
(c) Manually move the wheels in steering mode on the LH stop. Record the voltage U1'.
(d) From the voltage U1 and U1', calculate the average voltage U1".
(e) Manually move the wheels in steering mode to get the voltage U1".
(b) Record the voltage U1
(c) On the F26792000 SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST or F26792000-1 SENSOR-VOLTAGE TEST set the selector switch to U2.
(d) Record the voltage U2
(e) From the voltage U1 and U2, calculate the voltage U:
U = U1 - U2
(7) This voltage U must not be more than 20mV/AC
(8) If the voltage U is more than 20 mV/AC adjust the nose wheel steering gearbox with the NLG centering cams as reference (Ref. AMM TASK 32-51-00-820-002).
(9) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
