A. Safety Precautions
(1) Before the lowering operation, identify a safety area.
(3) Make sure that there are no persons is in the aircraft.
(4) Make sure that the safety devices are installed on the landing gears (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(5) Make sure that the passenger/crew doors, the emergency exits and the cargo doors are closed and locked or fully open and locked.
(6) Remove the JACK - SAFETY STAY.
Subtask 07-11-00-865-059-A (1) Before the lowering operation, identify a safety area.
NOTE: Local safety regulations can contain additional rules and information applicable to safety areas.
(2) In the cockpit, make sure that the landing-gear control lever is set to down. (3) Make sure that there are no persons is in the aircraft.
(4) Make sure that the safety devices are installed on the landing gears (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(5) Make sure that the passenger/crew doors, the emergency exits and the cargo doors are closed and locked or fully open and locked.
(6) Remove the JACK - SAFETY STAY.

- set the PARKING BRK control switch to OFF.
D. Preparation before Lowering
(1) To operate the jack, read the instructions written in red on the hydraulic jack.
(2) Loosen the safety nuts of the hydraulic jack.

(1) Operate the jack slowly, until the Nose Landing Gear (NLG) shock absorber is compressed.

A. Removal of Equipment
(1) When the aircraft is on its wheels, remove the jacks from under the nose jacking points.

B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at FR8.

D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On panel 110VU:
(a) Make sure that the pressure indication on the Yellow brake-pressure triple-indicator is correct.
(b) If necessary, pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:

- Set the PARKING BRK control switch to ON.
(a) Make sure that the pressure indication on the Yellow brake-pressure triple-indicator is correct.
(b) If necessary, pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
- With the electric pump (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-863-001) or
- With the ground power supply (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002).
E. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

(1) Remove the access platform(s).
(2) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
