A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(2) Make sure that the Isolation Coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
Subtask 32-43-14-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(2) Make sure that the Isolation Coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

A. Preparation of the Replacement Component
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(a) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the:
(c) Install the new AIPC 32-43-03-02-060 PACKINGS (8) on the unions (9).
(d) Install the new AIPC 32-43-03-02-100 PACKING (5) on the union (6).
(e) Remove the blanking plugs from the new dual valve (25).
(f) Install the union (6) in the new dual valve (25). TORQUE it to between 1.32 and 1.21 m.daN (116.81 and 107.08 lbf.in )

(g) Install the unions (9) in the new dual valve (25). TORQUE them to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )
.
(h) Install the union (3) in the new dual valve (25). TORQUE it to between 3.58 and 3.47 m.daN (26.40 and 25.59 lbf.ft )
.
Subtask 32-43-14-560-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(a) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the:
- New packings (2), (5) and (8)
- Threads of the unions (3) and (6)
- Threads of the unions (9).
(c) Install the new AIPC 32-43-03-02-060 PACKINGS (8) on the unions (9).
(d) Install the new AIPC 32-43-03-02-100 PACKING (5) on the union (6).
(e) Remove the blanking plugs from the new dual valve (25).
(f) Install the union (6) in the new dual valve (25). TORQUE it to between 1.32 and 1.21 m.daN (116.81 and 107.08 lbf.in )
. (g) Install the unions (9) in the new dual valve (25). TORQUE them to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )
. (h) Install the union (3) in the new dual valve (25). TORQUE it to between 3.58 and 3.47 m.daN (26.40 and 25.59 lbf.ft )
. B. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the bolts (23), (22), (17) and the washers (24), (19), and (12).
(5) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to the interface of the dual valve (25) and the aircraft structure.
Subtask 32-43-14-420-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .

C. Installation of the Dual Valve (2577GM)
(1) Put the dual valve (25) in position and install the washers (24) and the bolts (23).
(2) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(3) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
(4) Connect the hydraulic pipe (7) to the union (6). TORQUE it to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.daN (12.54 and 11.06 lbf.ft )
.
(5) Connect the elbow assemblies (1) to the dual valve (25). TORQUE them to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.daN (12.54 and 11.06 lbf.ft )
.
(6) Connect the elbow assembly (26) to the union (9). TORQUE it to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )
.
(7) Connect the pipe (4) to the union (3). TORQUE it to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )
.
(8) Connect the pipes (10) to the unions (9). TORQUE them to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )
.
(9) Connect the drain hose (15) as follows:
(a) Put the drain hose (15) in position and install the bolt (22) and the spacer (21).
(b) Put the clamp (20) in position and install the washer (19) and the nut (18).
(c) Put the clamps (16) in position and install the bolt (17), the washer (12) and the nut (11).
(d) If removed, install the plug (13) and the clamp (14).
Subtask 32-43-14-865-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the dual valve (25) in position and install the washers (24) and the bolts (23).
(2) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(3) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.

. (7) Connect the pipe (4) to the union (3). TORQUE it to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )
. (8) Connect the pipes (10) to the unions (9). TORQUE them to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )
. (9) Connect the drain hose (15) as follows:
(a) Put the drain hose (15) in position and install the bolt (22) and the spacer (21).
(b) Put the clamp (20) in position and install the washer (19) and the nut (18).
(c) Put the clamps (16) in position and install the bolt (17), the washer (12) and the nut (11).
(d) If removed, install the plug (13) and the clamp (14).
D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

E. Preparation for Test
(1) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(2) Do the filling and bleeding of the low pressure control system of the alternate braking (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-612-001).
(3) Bleed the high pressure-alternate brake system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-870-002).
(4) Pressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(5) If necessary fill the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
Subtask 32-43-14-710-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(2) Do the filling and bleeding of the low pressure control system of the alternate braking (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-612-001).
(3) Bleed the high pressure-alternate brake system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-870-002).
(4) Pressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(5) If necessary fill the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
F. Test
(1) Do the operational check of the alternate braking with anti-skid (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-710-001).
(2) Make sure that there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the dual valve (25). Leaks are not permitted.
5. Close-up(1) Do the operational check of the alternate braking with anti-skid (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-710-001).

Subtask 32-43-14-410-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Apply corrosion protection to the bolt heads, pipe connections and the adjacent areas (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
(2) Remove the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(6) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(7) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Apply corrosion protection to the bolt heads, pipe connections and the adjacent areas (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
(2) Remove the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(6) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(7) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
