Filling and Bleeding of the Low Pressure Control System of the Alternate Braking using Green Reservoir fluid
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE CONTROLS AGREE WITH THE POSITION OF THE ITEMS THEY OPERATE BEFORE YOU PRESSURIZE A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF HYDRAULICALLY OPERATED ITEMS CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
WARNING:
PRESSURIZE ONLY THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM(S) THAT IS (ARE) NECESSARY FOR THE TASK. ISOLATE THE OTHER HYDRAULIC SYSTEM(S) BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT. UNWANTED ELECTRICAL POWER CAN BE DANGEROUS.
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
1. Reason for the JobYou must do this procedure to fill the system or after you remove equipment from it.
NOTE: If the bleeding and filling is not satisfactory with the Green reservoir fluid, do the alternative AMM procedure with the aircraft brake-system filling-unit.

A. Bleeding and replenishment of the Alternate Brake Control Reservoir
(1) Depressurize the brake yellow-pressure accumulator 2582GM (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(2) Pressurize the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002)
(5) Close the VALVE - FILLING on the left bleed valve (union J). Use the VALVE - FILLING on the right bleed valve (union K) to continue the filling operation. Monitor the fluid flow.
When the fluid flows with no air bubbles, open the VALVE - FILLING on the left bleed valve (union J).
(6) Close the VALVE - FILLING on the right bleed valve (union K). Use the VALVE - FILLING on the left bleed valve (union J) to continue the filling operation. Monitor the fluid flow.
When the fluid flows with no air bubbles, close the VALVE - FILLING on the left bleed valve (union J).
(7) At this step the reservoir 2624GM is full (the reservoir piston is on its stop). Let the fluid flow through the bleed valve on the reservoir 2624GM. Close the bleed valve when the piston end is aligned with the green band (normal level).
(8) Close the bleed valves (unions J and K) of the alternate-brake distribution dual-valve 2577GM.
Subtask 32-43-00-863-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Depressurize the brake yellow-pressure accumulator 2582GM (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(2) Pressurize the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002)
NOTE: During the replenishment procedure monitor:
(3) Before you start the filling operation, you must let the fluid rest one hour minimum. - the fluid level of the green hydraulic reservoir.
If necessary add fluid to the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-002). - the air pressure in the green hydraulic reservoir.
If the air pressure is less than the nominal value pressurize the green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
NOTE: Do not operate other aircraft systems related to this reservoir.
(4) Open the VALVE - FILLING on the bleed valves (unions J and K) of the alternate-brake distribution dual-valve 2577GM. Fill until the fluid flows with no air bubbles from the bleed valve of reservoir 2624GM. The supply pressure must not be more than 4 bar (58.0151 psi).

(2) Do this test:
| ACTION | RESULT |
|---|---|
| 1.Push the left pedal on the Captain or First Officer side. | Make sure that :
|
| 2.Slowly release the left pedal. | Make sure that the pistons slowly retract on the two brakes of the left main gear. |
| 3.Push the right pedal on the Captain or First Officer side. | Make sure that :
|
| 4.Slowly release the right pedal. | Make sure that the pistons slowly retract on the two brakes of the right main gear. |
