Operational Check of the Cut-Out Valve
WARNING:
PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:
- THE FLIGHT CONTROLS
- THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
- THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE RIGGING PINS ARE REMOVED BEFORE OPERATION OF THE FREE FALL SYSTEM. DAMAGE WILL OCCUR IF THE RIGGING PINS ARE INSTALLED DURING SYSTEM OPERATION.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
(2) Install the ground safety locks on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On panel 400VU:
(5) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the hydraulic system.
Subtask 32-33-00-869-087-A (1) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
(2) Install the ground safety locks on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On panel 400VU:
- Make sure that the landing-gear control-lever is in the DOWN position
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
(5) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the hydraulic system.
B. Flight Configuration Precautions
(1) Do the flight configuration precautions (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).

D. Get Access
(3) Install the safety devices on the landing-gear Doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-002).
4. ProcedureWARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE LANDING GEAR DOORS ARE CLEAR.
(1) On panel 110VU, turn the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle clockwise two complete turns to fully open the L/G doors. NOTE: If the NLG doors do not fully open, manually help them to fully open.
(2) Make sure that all the L/G doors are fully open. (3) Install the safety devices on the landing-gear Doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-002).

A. Operational Check of the Cut-Out Valve (2515GM) in the Free Fall Position - Mechanical
(2) On panel 110VU, turn the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle clockwise one full turn.
(3) Make sure that the NLG and MLG uplock hooks are fully opened.
(a) Make sure that the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle will not turn more than three turns.
(b) Set the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle to the closed position.
(c) Fold the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle into the center console.
(5) Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
Subtask 32-33-00-710-055-B WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE LANDING GEAR DOORS ARE CLEAR.
WARNING:
DO NOT PUT YOUR FINGERS IN THE UPLOCK MECHANISM. THIS IS DANGEROUS.
(1) Use a ROD - NON METALLIC to carefully close the NLG and MLG uplock hooks. (2) On panel 110VU, turn the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle clockwise one full turn.
(3) Make sure that the NLG and MLG uplock hooks are fully opened.
NOTE: If the NLG and MLG uplock hooks do not fully open, use the ROD - NON METALLIC to fully open the uplock hooks.
(4) On panel 110VU: (a) Make sure that the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle will not turn more than three turns.
(b) Set the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle to the closed position.
(c) Fold the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle into the center console.
(5) Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
- 1GA, 2GA, 52GA, 58GA and 59GA.
B. Operational Check of the Cut-Out Valve (2515GM) in the Free Fall Position - Hydraulic
(3) Install the 98D32203502000 SAFETY PIN - NLG DOOR in each NLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-002).
(4) Install a 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK on the RH MLG door actuator only (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-002).
(5) Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
(8) Try to close the LH MLG door with the ground door-opening handle. The handle must not move and the LH MLG door must not close.
(9) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(10) On panel 110VU:
(a) Set the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle to the closed position.
(b) Fold the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle into the center console.
(11) Remove the ground safety locks from the the NLG doors and the RH MLG door.
(12) Pressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-001).
(13) Close the NLG and the MLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-410-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(14) On panel 110VU:
(a) Turn the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle clockwise three full turns to open the L/G doors.
(c) Fold the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle into the center console.
Subtask 32-33-00-710-056-B WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE LANDING GEAR DOORS ARE CLEAR.
(1) Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):- 1GA, 2GA, 52GA, 58GA and 59GA.
(3) Install the 98D32203502000 SAFETY PIN - NLG DOOR in each NLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-002).
(4) Install a 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK on the RH MLG door actuator only (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-002).
(5) Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
- 1GA, 2GA, 52GA, 58GA and 59GA.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE CONTROLS AGREE WITH THE POSITION OF THE ITEMS THEY OPERATE BEFORE YOU PRESSURIZE A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF HYDRAULICALLY OPERATED ITEMS CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(7) Pressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-001). (8) Try to close the LH MLG door with the ground door-opening handle. The handle must not move and the LH MLG door must not close.
(9) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(10) On panel 110VU:
(a) Set the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle to the closed position.
(b) Fold the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle into the center console.
(11) Remove the ground safety locks from the the NLG doors and the RH MLG door.
(12) Pressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-001).
(13) Close the NLG and the MLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-410-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(14) On panel 110VU:
(a) Turn the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle clockwise three full turns to open the L/G doors.
NOTE: If the NLG doors do not fully open, manually help them to fully open.
(b) Set the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle to the closed position close the landing gear doors. (c) Fold the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle into the center console.
C. Operational Check of the Cut-Out Valve in the Normal Position - Hydraulic
(2) Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):
(4) On panel 400VU, make sure that the landing gear control-lever (6GA) is in the DOWN position.
(5) Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-001).
(7) On panel 400VU, move the landing gear control-lever (6GA) to the UP position to open the landing gear doors.
(8) Make sure the landing gear doors are fully open.
(9) On panel 400VU, move the landing gear control-lever (6GA) to the DOWN position to close the landing gear doors.
(10) Make sure the landing gear doors are fully closed.
(11) Do steps (7) to (10) three more times.
5. Close-upWARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE LANDING GEAR DOORS ARE CLEAR.
(1) Make sure the MLG and NLG ground safety locks are in position (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001). (2) Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):
- 1GA
- 2GA
- 52GA
- 58GA
- 59GA.
(4) On panel 400VU, make sure that the landing gear control-lever (6GA) is in the DOWN position.
(5) Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
- 1GA
- 2GA
- 52GA
- 58GA
- 59GA.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-001).
(7) On panel 400VU, move the landing gear control-lever (6GA) to the UP position to open the landing gear doors.
(8) Make sure the landing gear doors are fully open.
(9) On panel 400VU, move the landing gear control-lever (6GA) to the DOWN position to close the landing gear doors.
(10) Make sure the landing gear doors are fully closed.
(11) Do steps (7) to (10) three more times.

A. Depressurize the Hydraulic Systems
(1) On panel 400VU, make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position.
(2) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
Subtask 32-33-00-860-082-A (1) On panel 400VU, make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position.
(2) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Remove and discard the TIE WRAP(S).
(2) Remove the 98F32304000000 TARGET-FALSE from proximity sensors 20GA, 21GA, 22GA, 23GA, 24GA and 25GA.
Subtask 32-33-00-869-088-A (1) Remove and discard the TIE WRAP(S).
(2) Remove the 98F32304000000 TARGET-FALSE from proximity sensors 20GA, 21GA, 22GA, 23GA, 24GA and 25GA.
C. Ground Configuration Precautions
(1) Do the aircraft ground configuration procedure after flight configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-002).

D. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the SAFETY BARRIER(S).
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
