Removal of the Manifold Assembly
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT. UNWANTED ELECTRICAL POWER CAN BE DANGEROUS.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).

(2) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
C. Disconnect the Hydraulic System PTU
(1) Disconnect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(2) Obey the flight configuration precautions (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(4) Depressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Put the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT below the manifold assembly (6) to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.
Subtask 32-31-32-865-050-A (1) Disconnect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(2) Obey the flight configuration precautions (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(4) Depressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Put the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT below the manifold assembly (6) to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.

E. Safety Precautions
(1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:

- On the panel 40VU in the cockpit
- On the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system.
Subtask 32-31-32-020-050-A
A. Removal of the Manifold Assembly (2818GM)
(1) Remove the L/G selector valve 40GA (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-12-000-001).
(2) Remove the L/G door selector valve 41GA (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-34-000-001).
(3) Remove the check valve 2537GM (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-47-000-001).
(4) Disconnect the hydraulic pipes (7), (9), (11), (10), (8), (12), (13), (14) and (15).
(5) Remove the bolt (1), the washer (2) and disconnect the bonding strap (3) from the manifold assembly (6).
(6) Remove the bolts (4) and the washers (5).
(7) Carefully remove the manifold assembly (6) from the aircraft.
(8) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(1) Remove the L/G selector valve 40GA (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-12-000-001).
(2) Remove the L/G door selector valve 41GA (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-34-000-001).
(3) Remove the check valve 2537GM (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-47-000-001).
(4) Disconnect the hydraulic pipes (7), (9), (11), (10), (8), (12), (13), (14) and (15).
(5) Remove the bolt (1), the washer (2) and disconnect the bonding strap (3) from the manifold assembly (6).
(6) Remove the bolts (4) and the washers (5).
(7) Carefully remove the manifold assembly (6) from the aircraft.
(8) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
