A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
   (2) Depressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

B. Get Access
   (1) Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).

C. Disconnection of the Hydraulic System PTU
   (1) Disconnect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
   (2) Obey the flight configuration precautions (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
   (3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
   (4) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the L/G door selector valve 41GA to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.

E. Safety Precautions
   (1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
  • On the panel 40VU in the cockpit
  • On the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system.
   (2) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
4. Procedure
Subtask 32-31-34-020-050-A
A. Removal of the L/G Door Selector Valve 41GA
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
   (1) Disconnect the electrical connectors (3).
   (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (3) Remove and discard the lockwire from the screws (1).
NOTE: The lockwire is only installed on the aft screws.
   (4) Remove the screws (1) and the washers (2).
   (5) Remove the L/G selector valve (4) from the manifold (5).
   (6) Remove and discard the seals (6).
   (7) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
