CAUTION: THIS PART IS A REMOVABLE STRUCTURAL COMPONENT (RSC), WHICH CAN BE MOVED BETWEEN AIRCRAFT. THUS IT CAN HAVE DIFFERENT OPERATION CONDITIONS AND A DIFFERENT LIFE RECORD (FLIGHT HOURS/FLIGHT CYCLES/CALENDAR) FROM THE AIRCRAFT IT IS INSTALLED ON OR REMOVED FROM. THE OPERATOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SPECIFIC TRACKING AND CONTINUED AIRWORTHINESS OF REMOVABLE STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS. INCORRECT MAINTENANCE OF THESE COMPONENTS CAN CAUSE A RISK FOR THE FLIGHT SAFETY.
1. Reason for the Job
This procedure is only applicable when the aft door assy is installed after replacement. For the applicable procedure to install the aft door assy after removal for access only, Ref. TASK 32-22-13-410-001.

3. Job Set-up
Subtask 32-22-13-860-050-A
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) In the cockpit, on the panel 400VU, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear control lever.
   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.
   (3) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
   (4) Make sure that the aircraft is on jacks at the forward jacking point (Ref. AMM TASK 07-11-00-581-003).
4. Procedure
Subtask 32-22-13-420-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the NLG Aft Door-Assembly
   (1) Install the bush (7) on the door (18).
   (2) Install the bush (14) on the aircraft structure fitting.
   (3) Put the door (18) in position.
   (4) Install the bush (6) on the door (18).
   (5) Make sure that the bush (7) is in the correct position.
   (6) Lubricate the bolts (9) and (12) with Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) .
NOTE: For lubricant grease specification and lubrication requirements, (Ref. AMM D/O 12-22-00-00).
   (7) Install the bolt (9), the washer (8) and the nut (5).
   (8) TORQUE the nut (5) to between 0.33 and 0.27 m.daN (29.20 and 23.89 lbf.in ) T.
   (9) Safety the nut (5) with the new
AIPC 32-22-01-05-040 COTTER PIN (4) or AIPC 32-22-01-05-045 COTTER PIN (4) or AIPC 32-22-01-05-210 COTTER PIN (4) or AIPC 32-22-01-05-215 COTTER PIN (4).
   (10) Install the bolt (12), the washer (13) and the nut (16).
   (11) TORQUE the nut (16) to between 0.33 and 0.27 m.daN (29.20 and 23.89 lbf.in )
T.
   (12) Safety the nut (16) with the new
AIPC 32-22-01-05-080 COTTER PIN (15) or AIPC 32-22-01-05-085 COTTER PIN (15) or AIPC 32-22-01-05-250 COTTER PIN (15) or AIPC 32-22-01-05-255 COTTER PIN (15).
   (13) Install the bolt (10), bonding braid (11) and nut (17).
   (14) Tighten the nut (17).
   (15) Install the bolt (1), bonding braid (2) and nut (3).
   (16) Tighten the nut (3).
Subtask 32-22-13-420-053-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the NLG Aft Door-Assembly
   (1) Install the bush (9) on the door (22).
   (2) Put the door (22) in position.
   (3) Install the two shouldered bushes (17) on the door (22).
   (4) Install the bush (8) on the door (22) and keep the door (22) in position.
   (5) Make sure that the bush (9) and the two shouldered bushes (17) are in the correct position.
   (6) Lubricate the bolts (11) and (15) with Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Clay Thickened - (Material No.
03GBB1) or Synthetic Oil base Grease-General Purpose Lithium Thickened Low Temp. - (Material No.03GBC1) .
   (7) Install the bolts (11) and (15), washers (7) and (18) and nuts (6) and (20).
   (8) TORQUE the nut (6) to between 3 and 2.6 m.daN (22.12 and 19.17 lbf.ft ) T and safety with a new AIPC 32-22-01-05-040 COTTER PIN (5) or AIPC 32-22-01-05-045 COTTER PIN (5) or AIPC 32-22-01-05-210 COTTER PIN (5) or AIPC 32-22-01-05-215 COTTER PIN (5) or AIPC 32-22-81-05-040 COTTER PIN (5) or AIPC 32-22-81-05-045 COTTER PIN (5).
   (9) TORQUE the nut (20) to between 1.35 and 1.2 m.daN (119.47 and 106.19 lbf.in )
T and safety it with a new AIPC 32-22-01-05-080 COTTER PIN (19) or AIPC 32-22-01-05-085 COTTER PIN (19) or AIPC 32-22-01-05-250 COTTER PIN (19) or AIPC 32-22-01-05-255 COTTER PIN (19) or AIPC 32-22-81-05-080 COTTER PIN (19) or AIPC 32-22-81-05-085 COTTER PIN (19).
   (10) Install the bolt (3), bonding braid (4) and nut (2).
   (11) Tighten the nut (2).
   (12) Put the jumpers (10) and (16) in position.
   (13) Install the bolts (12) and the nuts (1).
   (14) TORQUE the nuts (1) to between 0.48 and 0.37 m.daN (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in )
T.
   (15) Install the bolt (13), bonding braid (14) and nut (21).
   (16) Tighten the nut (21).

C. Installation of the Rotating Rod
   (1) Install the rotating rod (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-16-400-001).

   (1) Extend the NLG (Ref. AMM TASK 32-30-00-867-002).

E. Check of the Gaps and Mismatches
   (1) Do a check of the NLG door gaps and mismatches (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-220-001).

F. Preparation for the Test
   (1) Lubricate the doors of the nose landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 12-22-32-640-002).
   (2) Remove the access platform(s).

   (1) Do the functional test of the NLG normal extension and retraction (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-00-720-003).

   (1) Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (2) Lower the aircraft on its wheels (Ref. AMM TASK 07-11-00-586-001).
   (3) Remove the safety barriers.
   (4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
