   (1) Do the EIS start procedure (PFDs and NDs only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (2) On the overhead panel:
On the ADIRS CDU, on the panel 20VU, make sure that the OFF/NAV/ATT selector switches for ADIRU1 and ADIRU2 are at NAV.

   (3) On the center pedestal, on the SWITCHING panel 8VU, check that the ATT HDG selector switch is in NORM position.

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Do the EIS start procedure (PFDs and NDs only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (2) On the ADIRS MSU, on the panel 20VU, make sure that the OFF/NAV/ATT selector switches for ADIRU1 and ADIRU2 are set to NAV.
   (3) On the center pedestal, on the SWITCHING panel 8VU, make sure that the ATT HDG selector switch is set to NORM.

  • set the OFF/NAV/ATT selector switch for the IR1 to OFF
On the CAPT PFD, check that the pitch and roll attitudes and the heading indications go out of view.
The ATT flag comes into view.
Ignore the related warnings.
  • set the OFF/NAV/ATT selector switch for the IR2 to OFF
On the F/O PFD, check that the pitch and roll attitudes and the heading indications go out of view.
The ATT flag comes into view.
