A. Operational test of the DMC3 switching when the 101XP busbar is lost
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the SWITCHING panel 8VU:
  • set the EIS DMC selector switch to CAPT/3
The CAPT PFD and ND, the EWD and the SD, stay in view.
2.On the rear C/B breaker panel 121VU:
  • open the 10WT3 circuit breaker
  • INVALID DATA message comes into view on the CAPT PFD and ND
  • DMC 3 FAULT message comes into view on the EWD
On the rear C/B breaker panel 122VU:
  • open the circuit breaker 17XN1
On the CAPT PFD and ND:
  • INVALID DATA message goes out of view after approximately 35s and the DU's show their initial image
    On the EWD:
  • ELEC AC BUS 1 FAULT indication comes into view
  • DMC 3 FAULT is not displayed any more
On the panels 121VU and 122VU:
  • close the circuit breaker 10WT3 and then 17XN1
On the DU's the related image stay in view and the ELEC AC BUS 1 FAULT goes out view on the EWD.
On the switching panel 8VU:
  • set the EIS DMC selector switch to NORM.

B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Do the EIS stop procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002)
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002)
