A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (PFDs only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) Do the ADIRS start procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-002).
   (4) On the panel 21VU, push the GPWS/SYS pushbutton switch (OFF legend on).
   (5) On one MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST NAV menu page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-010).

4. Procedure
Subtask 31-50-00-710-085-A
A. Check of the Automatic Call-Out Announcements Pin-Programmed in the FWCs
NOTE: The Aircraft Schematic Manual (ASM) gives the auto call-out announcements pin-programmed in the FWCs ASM 315201. You can hear these announcements during A/C operation if their related pins are connected to the ground.
NOTE: During this test, you will not hear the MINIMUM and HUNDRED ABOVE call-outs (if the related FWC pins are grounded or not).
NOTE: You can do this procedure with the FWC1 or the FWC2.
This procedure is for the FWC1. For the FWC2, use the indications between the parentheses.
   (1) Read the pin programming related to the FWC1 (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-50-00-740-002).
   (2) Compare the pin programming related to the FWC1 (2) with the state of the aircraft pin programming given in the ASM ASM 315201.

B. Operational Test
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the center pedestal, on the MCDU, on the NAV menu page:

  • Push the Line Select Key (LSK) adjacent to the RA1 indication. Then push the LSK adjacent to the RAMP TEST indication.
  • On the MCDU, the LRRA1 RAMP TEST page comes into view.

  • For each value, enter the number in the scratchpad and push the related LSK:

    * START ALT: 3100ft.
    * STOP ALT: 0ft.
    * SLOPE: 10ft/s.
  • On the MCDU, these values come into view:
    * +3100ft.
    * +0ft.
    * 10ft/s.
  • Push the LSK adjacent to the TRIGGER indication.
  • On the CAPT PFD, the ramp test starts. The radio height moves down from 2500 ft. to 0 ft. and stops after approximately 5 minutes.

  • On the MCDU, the RAMP TEST PROCESSING indication comes into view.

  • During the descent, you can hear the programmed announcements in the CAPT and F/O loudspeakers.
2.On the MCDU:

  • Push the LSK adjacent to the RETURN indication.
  • On the MCDU, the LRRA1 page comes into view.
