3. Job Set-up
Subtask 31-39-00-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the engines shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do the procedure.
(3) Make sure that the PARK BRK control handle is in the ON position.
(4) Make sure that the aircraft is in the ground configuration (landing gear compressed).
(5) On maintenance panel 50VU, connect the HEADSET 600 OHMS to the CVR/HEAD SET connector.
(6) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).

A. Operational Check of the of Recording Relay Logic

ACTION	RESULT
1.On overhead control and indicating panel 21VU: Push the RCDR/GND CTL pushbutton switch.	On the RCDR/GND CTL pushbutton switch: The blue ON legend comes on. In the headset: Make sure that you hear your voice recorded by the cockpit microphone. Make sure that you hear the synchronization tone.
2.On the overhead panel, on panel 49VU: Open circuit breaker 2KS1.
3.On the rear panel, on panel 121VU: Open circuit breaker 4KS1.
NOTE: Engine 1 running is simulated.	On the RCDR/GND CTL pushbutton switch: The blue ON legend goes off. In the headset: Make sure that you hear your voice and synchronization tone.
4.On the overhead panel, on panel 49VU: Close circuit breaker 2KS1.
5.On the rear panel, on panel 121VU: Close circuit breaker 4KS1.
NOTE: Engine 1 running simulation is stopped.	In the headset: After approximately 5 minutes after the Engine 1 simulation is stopped, make sure that you can not hear your voice and synchronization tone.

Stop the simulation of landing gear flight conditions (Ref. AMM TASK 32-69-00-860-001).	In the headset: After approximately 5 minutes after the simulation of flight conditions is stopped, make sure that you can not hear your voice and synchronization tone.
13.On the ECAM: Make sure that the following faults are not shown: RECORDER CVR FAULT and RECORDER DFDR FAULT.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Do the EIS stop procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
(2) Disconnect the HEADSET 600 OHMS from the CVR/HEAD SET connector.
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
