A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) To energize the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS), do the CIDS Bite test (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-003).
(3) For control unit 5DU:
(a) Open the forward cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(b) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the forward cargo-compartment door.
(c) Set cargo compartment-light switch 6LU to the ON position.
(d) Remove sidewall panel 131MW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003).
(4) For control unit 15DU:
(a) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(b) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the aft cargo-compartment door.
(c) Set cargo compartment-light switch 8LU to the ON position.
(d) Remove sidewall panel 162CW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-003).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

(3) For the control unit 5DU:

(4) For the control units 25DU and 15DU:

(b) Set the cargo-compartment light switch 8LU to the ON position.
(5) For the control unit 25DU:
(a) Remove the sidewall panel 152FW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-003).
(6) For the control unit 15DU:
(a) Remove the sidewall panel 162CW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-003).

:
(a) Open the forward cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(b) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position below the forward cargo-compartment door.
(c) Set cargo-compartment light switch 6LU to ON.
(d) Remove sidewall panel 131MW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003).
(4) FOR [15DU] (CONTROL UNIT, WASTE WATER ICE PROTECTION-)
:
(a) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(b) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position below the aft cargo-compartment door.
(c) Set cargo-compartment light switch 8LU to ON.
(d) Remove sidewall panel 162CW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-003).

Push and hold the TEST pushbutton.	The two green LED lights CU and HTR come on.
Release the TEST pushbutton.	The two green LED lights CU and HTR go off.
2.In the aft cargo compartment, at frame 63 on control unit 15DU:	On control unit 15DU:
Push and hold the TEST pushbutton.	The two green LED lights CU and HTR come on.
Release the TEST pushbutton.	The two green LED lights CU and HTR go off.

(2) Do the BITE test of the drain-mast ice protection (Ref. AMM TASK 30-71-00-740-001).

(d) Close the forward cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).
(2) For control unit 15DU:
(a) Install sidewall panel 162CW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-003).
(b) Set cargo-compartment light switch 8LU to the OFF position.
(c) Remove the access platform(s).
(d) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

(1) For control unit 5DU:
(a) Install sidewall panel 131MW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-003).
(b) Set cargo-compartment light switch 6LU to the OFF position.
(c) Remove the access platform(s).
(d) Close the forward cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).
(2) For control unit 15DU:
(a) Install sidewall panel 162CW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-003).
(3) For control unit 25DU:
(a) Install sidewall panel 152FW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-003).
(4) Set cargo-compartment light switch 8LU to the OFF position.
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(6) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).
(7) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
