DO NOT TOUCH THE SERVO CONTROLS DURING OPERATION OF THE PEDALS. MOVEMENT OF THE SERVO CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY.
A. Visual Inspection of the Rudder Servocontrol for Hydraulic Leakage WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS DO NOT OPERATE THE PEDALS WHEN YOU CLEAN THE VENT HOLE. OPERATION OF THE SERVO CONTROL WHEN YOU CLEAN THE VENT HOLE CAN BE DANGEROUS.
(1) Do several cycles of the rudder with the CAPT or F/O pedals. (2) Clean the vent hole (1) and the area around the vent hole of each servocontrol
(3) Do again several cycles of the rudder with the CAPT or F/O pedals.
(4) Do a visual check of the vent hole and the area around the vent hole.
Make sure that you can see no leak.
