A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the zone 832 (842).
(2) Open the passenger/crew door 832 (842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Remove the overhead stowage compartments between FR64 and FR70 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-24-41-000-001).
(4) Remove the ceiling panel in the zones 263 and 264 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001):

251JC.

(5) Remove the ceiling panels in the aft utility area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-42-000-002):

261BC 261CC 262BC 262CC.

B. Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are de-energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

4. Procedure

A. General Visual Inspection of G and P Route Wiring Installed in the Aft Cabin Overhead-Compartment
(1) Do a visual inspection of the wiring to make sure that there is no signs of ageing, alteration, overheating, scaling and deformation ESPM 2052110:
(a) On the AC/DC feeder routes: 3G and 6G.
(b) On the AC/DC power-distribution routes: 1P, 2P and 3P.

NOTE: Use a flash light or a mirror if necessary.

(2) Make sure that there is no dust contamination.

5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the ceiling panels in the aft utility area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-42-400-002):

(3) Install the ceiling panel in the zones 263 and 264 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-400-001):

251JC.

(4) Install the overhead stowage compartments between FR64 and FR70 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-24-41-400-001).
(5) Close the passenger/crew door 832 (842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(6) Remove the access platform(s).
