   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
   (4) Energize the Centralized Fault Display System (CFDS)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-003).
   (5) Make sure that a minimum of one cabin door is open.

  • The CIDS1 GROUND SCANNING page with the message "IN PROGRESS 180S" comes on.

  • After approximately 3 minutes the "DEU-A/B, CIDS TOP BUS XX / DIR 1 (101RH), CIDS MID BUS X / DIR 1 (101RH)" message goes off.
10.From the forward attendant station in the cabin:
Through all loudspeakers in the cabin and in the lavatories:
