Troubleshoot Report (Menu Mode)
The Troubleshoot Report, accessible in Menu Mode, is the combination of the Last Leg and Previous Leg Fault Reports except additional fault independent data is displayed for each fault. This report provides list of fault information for faults class 1 and 2 detected by the EEC that are annunciated to the flight crew or maintenance teams during normal operation or via the post flight report.

1. Reason for the JobThe Troubleshoot Report, accessible in Menu Mode, is the combination of the Last Leg and Previous Leg Fault Reports except additional fault independent data is displayed for each fault. C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the ENG section of maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Push the FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch.
(b) The ON legend of this pushbutton switch comes on.
(2) On AIR COND panel 30VU:
(a) Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (ON legend off).
(b) Install a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell the persons not to use it.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on the High Pressure (HP) ground connector to tell the persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
(4) On the overhead panel, on the ADIRS CDU, set the three OFF/NAV/ATT selector switches to NAV.
(5) On the left or right MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST ENG menu page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-001).
4. Procedure(1) On the ENG section of maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Push the FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch.
(b) The ON legend of this pushbutton switch comes on.
(2) On AIR COND panel 30VU:
(a) Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (ON legend off).
(b) Install a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell the persons not to use it.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on the High Pressure (HP) ground connector to tell the persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
(4) On the overhead panel, on the ADIRS CDU, set the three OFF/NAV/ATT selector switches to NAV.
(5) On the left or right MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST ENG menu page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-001).
NOTE: EEC Menu Mode will end without displaying a termination screen if any of the conditions that follow occur: The RETURN key is selected on the main menu screen. Engine start is detected. Mach is more than 0.12 or invalid. Aircraft indicates it is in air.

(2) Fault detected during NULL phase of flight leg (reported in the Ground Report) are not displayed in this report.
NULL phase range is between:
Subtask 73-29-00-740-060-A NOTE: The EEC will not enter the menu mode (interactive mode) after an inquire command from the Centralized Fault Display System (CFDS) when any of the following conditions are set:
(1) The Troubleshoot Report contains maximum 49 class 1 and 2 internal and external faults for the last 64 flight legs. Maximum 12 faults will be displayed per flight leg. The faults captured in the Troubleshoot Report are displayed to the flight crew or maintenance teams during normal operation or via post flight report. - N2 more than ten percent or invalid
- Rotary selector on CRANK or IGN/START or invalid
- Manual Start Button on ON or invalid
- Throttle Lever Angle (TLA) not at idle or invalid
- Aircraft in the air
- MASTER lever ON or invalid
- BITE command code input label invalid.
(2) Fault detected during NULL phase of flight leg (reported in the Ground Report) are not displayed in this report.
NULL phase range is between:
- POWER UP and 1st ENGINE START (N2 is more than or equal to 50 percent) + 3 MIN
- 80 kts after TOUCH DOWN + 2 MIN, 30 SEC or 5 MINUTES AFTER LAST ENGINE STOPPED.
B. Review the Last Leg Report in Menu Mode
5. Close-upNOTE: The EEC will not enter the menu mode (interactive mode) after an inquire command from the CFDS (Centralized Fault Display System) when any of the following conditions are set:
- N2 more than ten percent or invalid
- Rotary selector on CRANK or IGN/START or Invalid
- Manual Start Button on ON or Invalid
- TLA (Throttle Lever Angle) not at idle or invalid
- Aircraft in the air
- MASTER lever ON or invalid
- BITE command code input label invalid.

Subtask 73-29-00-860-125-A
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Remove all the fixtures, tools, test and support equipment used during this procedure.
(2) Release the FADEC pushbutton switch.
(3) On the ADIRS CDU, set the three OFF/NAV/ATT selector switches to OFF.
(4) Close the OMS session (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
Subtask 73-29-00-862-084-A (1) Remove all the fixtures, tools, test and support equipment used during this procedure.
(2) Release the FADEC pushbutton switch.
(3) On the ADIRS CDU, set the three OFF/NAV/ATT selector switches to OFF.
(4) Close the OMS session (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
