     (b) Remove the IFPC (1) with only the PWA211441 HANDLE, WORK. Refer to step 4.A.(11).
   (3) Disconnect the wiring harness (W03) connector (P16) from the IPFC (1) receptacle (J16) with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
   (4) Disconnect the wiring harness (WC08) connector (P15) from the IPFC (1) receptacle (J15) with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
   (5) Removal of the wiring harnesses:
CAUTION: DO NOT BEND OR TWIST THE HARNESS TOO MUCH. IF YOU DO, DAMAGE TO THE HARNESS CAN OCCUR.
     (a) Remove the wiring harnesses (W03) and (WC08) from the spring clips on the bracket (18).
   (6) Disconnect the bracket from the IFPC (1) by removing the two bolts (23).
   (7) Drain the engine fuel system at the fuel manifold as follows:
WARNING: DO NOT GET FUEL IN YOUR MOUTH, EYES OR ON YOUR SKIN. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM THE FUEL. KEEP THE FUEL AWAY FROM SPARKS, FLAME AND HEAT. FUEL IS POISONOUS AND FLAMMABLE, WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
     (a) Put the CONTAINER 20L (5 USGAL) under the fuel manifold.
     (b) Remove the drain plug (4) as follows:
1 Loosen the drain plug retention bolt (3) on the fuel manifold.

CAUTION: DO NOT PRY ON THE RETENTION TAB TO REMOVE THE DRAIN PLUG. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, DAMAGE TO THE DRAIN PLUG CAN OCCUR.
3 Hold the drain plug (4) by the square, turn and pull it as necessary to remove it from the fuel manifold.
4 Remove and discard the packing (5) from the drain plug (4).
     (c) Let the fuel drain into the CONTAINER 20L (5 USGAL).
     (d) Disconnect the tube (FD04) B-nut and let the fuel drain into the CONTAINER 20L (5 USGAL).
NOTE: More fuel will drain out of the drain plug port after the steps that follow.
     (e) Wipe the remaining fuel with the lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.P05-005) .
     (f) Loosen the four bolts (7) and let the fuel drain into the CONTAINER 20L (5 USGAL).
     (g) Remove the four bolts (7) from the main fuel supply hose.
     (h) Remove the face seal (6).
     (i) Move the main fuel supply hose up and away from the IFPC (1).
     (j) Examine the four helical coil inserts for damage:
1 If the helical is damaged, remove the helical coil insert (Ref. AMM TASK 70-24-00-910-803).
2 Install a new helical coil insert, if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 70-24-00-910-803).
     (k) Loosen the six captive bolts that attach the IFPC (1) to the fuel manifold and let the fuel drain into the CONTAINER 20L (5 USGAL).
     (l) Lift the IFPC (1) a small distance to drain all remaining fuel into the CONTAINER 20L (5 USGAL).
NOTE: Total fuel collected is approximately 1.8 USgal (6.81 l).
NOTE: After you drain all remaining fuel, the IFPC is safe to remove.
     (m) Apply P03-001lubricant, aircraft turbine engine or Sealing Ring Lubricant (Material No.P06-053) on a new EIPC 73-11-02-01-280 PACKING (5).
     (n) Install the packing (5) on the drain plug (4).
     (o) Installation of the drain plug:
CAUTION: DO NOT PUSH ON THE RETENTION TAB TO INSTALL THE DRAIN PLUG. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, DAMAGE TO THE DRAIN PLUG CAN OCCUR.
1 Hold the drain plug (4) at the square. Press and turn the drain plug until it fully seats against the fuel manifold.
2 Make sure that the drain plug (4) is fully seated against the mating surface.
3 Turn the drain plug (4) so that the retention tab is under the retention bolt (3) and the washer (2).
     (p) TORQUE the drain-plug retention bolt (3) to between 70 and 60 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.68 m.daN )
T.
     (q) Connect the tube (FD04) B-nut to the fuel ejector pump.
