A. GVI of the Engine Exhaust Area
(2) Visually inspect the Turbine exhaust Case (TEC) assembly for damage.
(a) Use the FLASHLIGHT (or other light source) to look inside the engine exhaust area and the TEC surfaces.
(3) Do a visual examination of the engine exhaust area and examine the parts that follow:
(a) The turbine-exhaust case struts.
(b) The turbine-exhaust-case engine-mount bushing-area.
(d) The turbine nozzle assembly.
(e) The turbine center body-assembly.
(5) Examine the assembly for foreign objects, damage and correct assembly.
5. Close-upCAUTION:
WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
(1) Put the MAT - PROTECTIVE inside the engine exhaust area to protect the inside surfaces. (2) Visually inspect the Turbine exhaust Case (TEC) assembly for damage.
