Subtask 72-53-00-220-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Detailed Visual Inspection (DVI) of the Low Pressure Turbine (LPT) 3rd Stage Blades and Outer Air Seals
CAUTION: BEFORE YOU DO THE INSPECTION OF THE LPT 3RD STAGE BLADES, MAKE SURE THAT YOU PUT ON COTTON GLOVES. HAND PERSPIRATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO TITANIUM ALUMINIDE (TiAl) ALLOY BLADES.
   (1) Put GLOVES - COTTON, LINT-FREE, CLEAN on your hands before you touch the LPT blades.
   (2) Visually inspect the Low Pressure Turbine (LPT) 3rd stage blades and 3rd stage outer air seals for damage. Use a FLASHLIGHT or other light source and look into the engine exhaust.
     (a) For this inspection procedure, the permitted damage limits for the 3rd stage LPT blades and 3rd stage outer air seals are listed in Table 601.
