Subtask 54-57-22-941-105-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start engine 1(2).
(2) On overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off).
(b) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 54-57-22-040-095-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start engine 1(2).
(2) On overhead maintenance panel 50VU:

B. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser
Subtask 54-57-22-010-094-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE THRUST REVERSER IS LOCKED. IF NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE REVERSER.
(1) Make sure that the thrust reversers are unserviceable for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-481-041). C. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position:
(a) For the left pylon, in zone 415.
(b) For the right pylon, in zone 425.
(3) Make sure that the access panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 54-52-11-000-002)
(a) For the left pylon : 413AL and 413AR.
(b) For the right pylon : 423AL and 423AR.
Subtask 54-57-22-110-067-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position:
(a) For the left pylon, in zone 415.
(b) For the right pylon, in zone 425.
(3) Make sure that the access panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 54-52-11-000-002)
(a) For the left pylon : 413AL and 413AR.
(b) For the right pylon : 423AL and 423AR.
D. Preparation for Installation
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) If the parts retained from the removed component are not sufficiently clean, clean them with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) If the parts retained from the removed component are not sufficiently clean, clean them with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
Subtask 54-57-22-420-084-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Forward Apron Assembly
(1) Install the forward apron assembly (1).
(2) Install and tighten the bolts (8) and the washers (9).
(3) Install and tighten the bolts (8) and the nuts (7).
(4) Install and tighten the screws (6) and the nuts (7).
(5) Install and tighten the screws (5).
5. Close-up(1) Install the forward apron assembly (1).
(2) Install and tighten the bolts (8) and the washers (9).
(3) Install and tighten the bolts (8) and the nuts (7).
(4) Install and tighten the screws (6) and the nuts (7).
(5) Install and tighten the screws (5).
Subtask 54-57-22-410-083-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the plate (3) and tighten the bolts (2).
(3) Install the clamps (4).
(4) Connect the electrical connectors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-51-43-400-001).
(5) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040).
(6) Install the access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 54-52-11-400-002).
(a) For the left pylon : 413AL and 413AR.
(b) For the right pylon : 423AL and 423AR.
(7) Remove the access platform(s).
(8) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
Subtask 54-57-22-440-076-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the plate (3) and tighten the bolts (2).
(3) Install the clamps (4).
(4) Connect the electrical connectors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-51-43-400-001).
(5) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040).
(6) Install the access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 54-52-11-400-002).
(a) For the left pylon : 413AL and 413AR.
(b) For the right pylon : 423AL and 423AR.
(7) Remove the access platform(s).
(8) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
B. Reactivation of the Thrust Reverser
(1) Make the thrust reverser serviceable after maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-081-041).
